Awesome Michelle, simply beautiful! I could watch you paint all day long and if I lived even remotely close to you I’d be a permanent student! 😀🤗😀 I’d also like to know, as Diane asked, what white paint did you use, it appeared to just swish the other colors out of the way. Hi Michelle, I enjoyed watching your video and the process you went through to great effect but it would have been nice to see the end result before your ads popped up on the screen. Better yet, although this may not work for you in the time you have to make a video, but a quick glimpse at the finished painting when dry after the salt and whatever else you added from the droppers had taken effect. I love that you use white paint, nobody ever really does and it looks great here.

Just gorgeous! I'm still at a "Beginner" stage but I really enjoy challenging myself by trying to matching colours to other paintings. The ones I see in yours are Daniel Smith's Transparent Red Oxide (or possibly Quinacridone Burnt Orange) and Quinacridone Gold. For the blue I can't decide between Indigo or Indanthrone. Can you tell me if I got any of them right? Thanks very much for the beautiful demonstration!

it is lovely use of colour. and i agree good practice (and fun) to guess ... i like how they separate, especially the orange... where the yellow moves up to create greens with the blue - but the orange remains bright. on the right the dark blue also appears to separate to another more muted green. maybe paints containing two pigments? or separate colours mixed on the palette by the artist. i will go for the mijello autumn gold, or their two pigment orange. and maybe marine blue or greenish blue also by mijello. i pick mijello as i have seen another painting by michelle where she uses this brand ;)
