Hi - I have been Vegetarian for most of my life and Vegan for the last 5 years - I had watched all your videos previously, but while the ‘stay at home’ order in my state is in effect I have had time to go back and rewatch them and have discovered a whole new way of using ingredients, cutting veggies (thanks for the cutting skills video) and cooking with herbs and spices. The tips and recipes have changed the way I cook and for the first time, am experimenting with new flavors and herbs instead of using the same the ingredients and seasonings I have used for years . Thanks again for all you are doing to spread the word about being Vegan and educating those of us who are not ‘official’ chefs in the art of creating delicious Vegan food - I am looking forward to trying the recipes in your new book - Much Gratitude

Hi Gaz, I was hoping you've had a Puff Pastry recipe. It'd really challenging to find one from our local groceries during this time. Hence, it'll be very helpful to be able to make one from home. Tag us who else has a recipe for puff pastry. Thanks to you all
@JRP34 жыл бұрын
I think you make a dough, then a layer of cold vegan butter, then fold and roll a number of times, refrigerating for a while in between each folding and rolling. Probably just look up any puff pastry recipe and then veganize it.

You can use vanilia puding powder from the store, just add more milk than the recommended to get the consistency right. These are usually vegan, but check the labels.

i’ve made vegan custard by heating up some non dairy milk, some sugar, vanilla essence and cornflour on the stove until it gets that thick custard-y consistency!

Christian Lacroix right now believe it or not, difficult. well, unless you have tons of $$ and pay extra, it's easier to get fast food or junk food than anything else right now. no healthy grains, no vegan 'dairy', it all got cleared out in the hoarding several weeks ago.
