The stuff you build is awesome, love your videos. As far as I’m concerned, you’re the “only” Finnish guy. Thanks and looking forward to more!

Note: actual thread size in chuck is 1/4-20. I allways mix those. Specially easy it is, when video editing is made week after actual making process. Most likely reason was that i needed to make a new thread to pipe, and searched 3/8" - 18 NPT taper thread die with google meanwhile video editing software was rendering video clips. Actual idea of the video is at the beginning. I tought this build could be good way to share it. Otherwise grinder is modified to fill my own needs, maybe one can find something useful for it too. Stones are replaced with Scotch brite polishing wheels. Bigger one in the right is rated to Max 6000rpm.

Kiitos katsomisesta.

Hi, great video. Can I please have a link to the mini chucks you use? I need something similar with a thread, but can't find anything similar. Thank you.

I have a grinder like yours and the 80 grit stone was horrible! Still is. It wobbles even tho I managed to free hand my BOWIE knife. ( restoration job) it came up beautiful. I have to reshape the blade! It worked out. But I hate the wobbly stone! I'm gonna do it your way! Can you tell me is that a dremel style ? 3 mm attachments? I need this setup! I have steel. Tubing, stick welder ( BOC) pro series. I can Tig and stick weld. This setup is perfect! But the stupid grinder is a joke. I have 3 bench grinder! So doing this to the rubbish Whetstone grinding side will make my jobs Quick, perfect grinding, then polished and buffing on my 1981 bench grinder! Any reply appreciated cheers from Australia just subbed.nice work! Genius effort!🙂👍👍👍

moi tuomas as usual great work. the covers are a great idea. i'm working on a tool and cutter grinder and this looks super cool. i'm trying to adapt the dremel flex shaft but i'm having trouble making the sleeve "adaptor"? because the inner flex cable is loose on the handpiece. don't know if i'm explaining well. i'm afraid if the sleeve is not concentric it could damage the cable or the sleeve. tried to find the bosch pn but it's like i'm talking chinese to the local bosch rep .. haha. thanks again and take care my friend.

Yep. Dremel needs sleeve. Thread in dremels neck piece isn't very popular.. i just don't remember it now, i'll be back when i found what it is. I used this Bosch flex shaft: www.bosch-professional.com/fi/fi/taipuisat-akselit-porakoneille-2868512-ocs-ac/?gclid=Cj0KCQjw8p2MBhCiARIsADDUFVHf_mjcHrYaYOX-wnyyCZjOm7upwtYNuzfzK4lPpd6tNISH7EctHGAaAqxZEALw_wcB
