I'm exactly the same, I rarely make desserts and I eat them only a couple times a year! But bread pudding is one of the few desserts I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!! And it's one I've been searching for that is very simple and no fancy liquors or apples or tons of spices. Just simple, old fashioned bread pudding and here it is! Tennessee North, how are you today? I’m watching you on this video and wanted to say, I had a fantastic Mom, not so good Dad. My mom raised us to love and find the good in everyone. Never kick someone that’s down on their luck. God loves us and sent his son for all his children. She worked hard and loved with all her heart. Her 4 kids were her life. We moved around a lot due to my Dad getting fired a lot because of his foul temper. We lived in Knoxville TN for sometime and I fell in love with Tenn. some of my favorite memories were there. Thank you for bring back these fond memories talking about your mom and making good southern cooking. Enjoy some of that yummy bread pudding. I’m sure it was delicious. Thx for this recipe. My mom passed away January 2021. Watching you make this brought tears to my eyes because this was the 1 thing me and mom always made together every month from 1975 until December of 2020. Didn't quite know how to make break pudding but you made it pretty easy. I'm gonna try that over the weekend, can't wait. I know you like it your way but I'll tell you a very simple recipe for sauce that needs no cooking. Confectioner sugar maybe 1-2"cups ...2 tbsp butter and milk ...till it's the consistency you like. I use the same saucy for cinnamon rolls..Quick & easy. Enjoy!!! You're right raisins are a must too!!

I love bread pudding and I make it once in a while😊 sometimes I put raisins other times I put raisins and walnuts or pecans. It came out absolutely delicious. Sometimes I even put a little bit of brown sugar.
