Simple but Amazing Cheese & Potato Pie Recipe

I love to eat potato pie but it is one of those dishes that I don't make nearly as often as I should. These days when I go to the market I find myself buying cassava and dasheen more than any other provision.
I recently got some potatoes and decided it was long overdue for me to do this recipe. This potato pie isn't drowned in multiple cheeses and a ton of different seasonings to achieve great flavor.
This potato pie recipe uses the perfect blend of simple ingredients to create an amazing dish that will take Sunday lunch to the next level.

Definitely going to try this. I love cheese pie, so comforting and delicious. I sometimes put a layer of baked beans under the mash. I add a chilli when boiling the potatoes which I fish out when finished cooking , it lends a hint of heat

I just made this and I must say melting that butter with the Seasoning of my choice was the best tip I have ever had!!! I did sweet peppers onion and thyme in my butter tho...best potato pie I've ever made🎉🎉🎉

Looks delicious. I was wondering what geera was so I googled it, here in the UK we know it as cumin seeds. Have those in the cupboard so going to put them in next time I make a potato pie as well as the nutmeg which I have never tried in potato pie before.
