4:59 The only problem is that black can promote here, and when white promotes, it’s not check, and black can check (probaly, [I haven’t calculated so I may be wrong] take our queen) and MIGHT eventually Queen and King mate, as white’s queen is I’m the edge

Theres actually an easy way to do this without even calculating called the rule of the square, or sometimes the triangle. For the triangle visialize drawing a diagonal line from where the pawn is standing down to the last rank, then horizontally back up to the rank the pawn is standing on, then complete the triangle with the last horizontal line back to the pawn. If your king can step into the triangle on your turn, you'll always be in time to stop the pawn. If you prefer squares over triangles then just use four horizontal lines, both are the same
