Great to see you back! Your new set up looks deadly 😍 Your clear and easy explanations make these diy gaming vids so easy to follow 👍 I just love your honesty with ''a couple of extra holes basically due to a lack of forward thinking'' usually there's a lame excuse like the extra holes are there for ventilation or similar nonsense!! Thanks for sharing 😉👌

Well done MpowR. Your setup looks amazing. Must give this a shot myself, might even use it for mixing paint lol. Cheers Gerry 👍👍

Hey thanks for this video, its been super helpful! Any particular reason you didn't want to mount the shaker directly to the underside of your seat?

Wow thank you very much for the detailed tutorial this will come in handy.. would you mind helping me with something, as this is all very new to me,I have just bought a simple setup to use on my PS5 and play seat challenge x, basically I bought 3 of the mini Dayton TT25 8ohm transducers and the Nobsound mini Bluetooth power amplifier with built in sound card which is 2channel and 50w and 4-8ohm. My plan was to have one of the transducers (8ohm) under my pedals, then two transducers a on my seat, but running in parallel which I think then halves the ohms so each transducer would be 4ohm, is this safe to do I don’t want to blow out or destroy anything, any help you can give would be greatly appreciated..👍

People, don't mount your amp to the same board as your bass shaker transducer, electronic dont like to be jostled and vibrated like that, over time could certainly damage components or even the circuit board.
@MDaDonLegacy2 жыл бұрын
I purchased the same parts and followed this step by step. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, I can't seem to get proper vibrations out of my shaker, they feel very dull and non-existent. If I watch a movie or listen to music my entire body shakes. Any racing game I play the FFB from my wheel drones out the bass shaker vibrations.

Hi, as it's working fine for you when you are watching movies and listening to music, it sounds like to me that it could be software related. What software are you using? Is the gain in your software turned up?

Hi, the amp is connected to your PC through a micro usb cable. Hope this helps!

@@mpowr2707 yes thank you do you need some other software also or is it plug and play?
@mpowr27072 жыл бұрын
Yes you will need software, there is a couple of different programs for it. Personally, I use Simhub. You will have to tell Simhub you want your output device as your amp and then you have to configure what frequencies each effect in the game will come through the speakers at. I followed a YT video for configuring the frequencies and it made it much easier. Good luck with the setup!

Hi, is your seat mounted to a cockpit?
@Werner345672 жыл бұрын
@@mpowr2707 yes, it is mounted to a self build alu profile rig. its mounted on seat brackets which are mounted on top of a slide. Someone told me he did it with heavy duty tape, but i dont think it will last long. But i give it a shot

What about drilling 2 holes in each side mount seat bracket you have, cutting a piece of wood to fit in between the two brackets relatively snugly and then hold that in place while you put a screw through each of the 4 holes you just drilled to then secure the wood in place. Now you have a platform to mount your bass shaker to. This is very similar to what I did in the video, except rather than using the 4 mounting holes I had in the bottom of my seat to attach the wood you are just going through the side of the brackets instead. Or you could, if you have two spare shakers, cut two pieces of wood (1 for each side of your seat) and use the bolts that currently secure your brackets to your seat by taking them out (and maybe using longer ones depending on the thickness of the wood) and putting them through the wood, into your brackets and then ultimately into the mounting holes on the side of your seat. So essentially, it's the same way as you have it mounted now except the bolt's journey wouldnt just be bracket > seat, it would be wood, bracket, seat. You would sandwich the wood between the bolt and the bracket. I have seen a few different mounting solutions for attaching a bass shaker to the back of a hard back seat but without drilling through the seat they tend to be more awkward and plenty of times less secure than the solutions I mentioned. Hope this helps and was easy enough to understand 🙂

AluMINIum? Smaller molecular structure than aluminum?

That's how the UK says aluminum. This isn't a new thing lol
