As I don't eat eggs I often have chips and beans as a simple meal, but when I feel like treating myself I'll mix some Mayflower curry powder into the beans. Lush as fuck.

Oh yum you can't beat egg chips and beans where's the bread and butter the other week my son said can we have sausage beans and chips for tea I really enjoyed it don't know the last time I had it I think the simple teas are the best another simple meal mum used to do for us was chips and soup poured over the top of the chips with plenty of bread and butter yum nice on a cold night love fran

Hi Keith and Nat now your talking Keith I love egg chips and beans and I get the cheapo aldi beans it's one of my favourite meals oh you've got to have 2 eggs cos the is nothing in one I love cheesey mash egg and sausage or bacon and I've not had it for a while beans on toast with fried egg on top turn the egg over and squash the egg and the yolk goes into the beans my late mum told me you can't go wrong if you have potatoes beans egg in the house oh and bread and butter you can make a meal out of those .I was in town yesterday and was in the butchers I'd called in for curry mix and I saw a tiny piece of beef and it was 6 pound odd it looked like it would just feed 2 I think if the meat shrunk in the oven you would nèd a magnifying glass to find the beef . A lot of people turn the noses up at the cheap range of food not me the might be a bit more sauce in the bean can but the beans faste lovely love to you and Nat xxxlove fran xxx

You should chop a few rashers of bacon, then fry in olive oil with sone fresh garlic added until just cooked, then add the beans into the pan. Then slow cook for about 20mins. It would be perfect with that.
