The real question is how do so many other KZbin guitar instructors make arpeggios seem so boring and tedious. Thank You for keeping it real and making these concepts so instantly useful!

Sean do you think you could do a lesson on Open C tuning? Specifically chords in this tuning? I'd really appreciate it! Long time subscriber, love the videos thanks so much for all these great lessons. Cheers from NYC :)
@Gary_Reid_Backing_Tracks6 жыл бұрын
What the heck is that chord form you slid up to around 7:39? I rewound half a dozen times and can't figure it.
@seandaniel236 жыл бұрын
Well it's more of a 'double stop' than a chord form, 9th fret on D and 7th fret on G give you two notes that go in a G chord, and then you can take the D string up to the 7th fret too.

The 300 pound elephant in the room for me is I got to learn more music theory and scales. Sean is cool about it but it's the underlining theme in most of his lessons. I cant go on being a lazy ass! Learn that fret board son!
@jerrywilson43717 жыл бұрын
Very useful tool and I thank you sir. Maybe sometime you could do a thing on 3 note per string versus caged system. I watched a guy explaining the 3 note per string patterns and was kind of interested in goofing off with it but it's pretty stretchy for me on parts of the fretboard. Thoughts? Opinions? I mean after you've gotten your revenge of course

You clearly know how to hit the ears of students with what they need to hear to go "Ahhh, I get it now." I subscribe to many other instructors on KZbin, but you're definitely at the top. Don't tell Stich. He's up there too though. Something too Phishy about him though whereas you're more of a Tool. (See what I did there?)

Here's a dumb question, to make this minor would you move it up or down a half step? Or, is it a different shape that gets move around in the same way? Same shape but the major 3rd becomes a minor 3rd? Thanks Sean.
@judgegrassio49757 жыл бұрын
Chris Soares same shape just with flat third
@seandaniel237 жыл бұрын
Yup same shape, but the 3rd note in the sequence is only 3 frets higher instead of 4

Kiến Sinh Group Vĩnh Best way to quit is attempting something that is too far above your skill level which sets you up for frustration and failure...What you should take away from this video is the concept of arpeggios and learn the basic ones, without thinking about execution yet. Then, as you become familiar with the mechanics and the fretboard, you will be able to take it to the next level with this great lesson.

I love words like, arpeggio. Just using it makes me sound, wicked smaht. Kinda like when I was single and women would ask what I did for a living. I never told them I was a polygraph examiner. NOPE I would always say, I'm a forensic psychophysiologist. Yeaaaaaa sounds way cooler right? My point? Help some of the single brothers out. Do a video on cool theory terms, that sound awesome when you have to do the, douchebag with a guitar, routine. For those times when you have to up your game at a party, to close the deal, or attract the attention of the ladies. Let's face it, being cool, will get the girls. Add guitar, the odds do go up... but sound, wicked smaht, while playing guitar..... well there is only one thing that can trump that (Please no Trump slams, I used, trump; not Trump)
