Something I’ve never tried Jack. You’ve convinced me to have a go on the barbecue when it warms up here in the UK 👍🤣🇬🇧 Cheers mate.

You should really make a delicious Bangladeshi dish called Kala Bhuna. Traditionally it uses a lot of oil, you can obviously scale it down.

Just made this and yes it’s the best jerk chicken I’ve ever tasted.

This is almost exactly like my jerk marinade, except I don't include garlic and ginger. I must try it with those added. I use it on belly pork strips, cooked under the grill if not bbq weather. Delicious.

Another winner. 🎉 Can’t wait for summer (here) I’m sure many of us are going to prepare Jerk chicken after your video and adjust the chilli heat to our preference. Well I am.

Omg looks amazing, great for the BBQ. Loved the idea of grilling the limes too. Going to give this a try for next barbie. Minus the hell chillis 😅 haha glad you mentioned can use less hot chilli’s. Can’t think of what I want you to make right now, I’m sure others will have suggestions

It’s so good! Definitely adjust the recipe to your liking and heat preference. Long red chillies are very mild. Worst case, leave the chillies out altogether

The bus stopped with a jerk and the chicken got off. Please don't use a Mortar and Pestle if you're living in a Unit complex. It drives the neighbours mad. This is much better than the marinated jerk chicken in a bag available at Coles supermarket. Thanks Jack.

That marinade is insane. Would it be sacrilegious if I used the same marinade but cooked it in an oven?? That's disrespectful isn't it?

The lime juice provides the acidity. I use cider vinegar if I don't have any limes.
