Hi Shelly. I had to look up that CliqueStick eyeshadow. The instructions say you have to sharpen it when it gets dull. So it must be a pencil? Very weird. Also Mel’s palette is still my favorite ever. She did such an amazing job with it.

I measured it yesterday and it WOULD fit if I turned everything.... I think? I know it would fit. The question is, would it leave me enough space to get around it without that driving me nuts? Oh my gosh! I got that eyeshadow stick in my Ipsy and it was AWFUL! I honestly thought all eyeshadow sticks were the same, because for the most part, they all perform extremely similar to each other. Not this one. This one was hard AF to get on my skin. I’ve never used an eyeshadow stick so bad!

When I reviewed the WTF, I did not wear powder, and I find it to be a little too tacky for me without powder. So I do tend to powder it - but it wears beautifully either way. I just don't like when I can feel any sort of tackiness on my skin throughout the day.

Have your stylist cut your bangs at a slant, you'll need to train them to go in the right direction but it makes them more manageable as they grow

I'm neutral leaning cool, and the cool is more pronounced in the winter when I have no color at all. I tend to get a little color on my arms in the summer, which puts me more squarely in the neutral range. Thus when I buy foundations to review in the summer, I tend to pick a neutral shade if there isn't one leaning cool, and in the winter I'll pick more on the cool side.

I tried several Korean lip stains, but they all were funny colors on me. My coloring is so weird. Only a few shades of lip products actually look good on me. Edit: Is it weird I was diggin’ the black lips and pinned back bangs? 😳 Edit 2: We also just had a tankless installed. He hate it. Half the time it’s only lukewarm. We’ve had TWO gas leaks so far- thank goodness we had a crew out here fixing the rot in our roof/ walls, and they smelled it and knew what it was. I wish we could’ve rented forever. 🥺

I was just telling my mom that I wish I could just rent. My problem is I have too much stuff. I'd have stayed in my apartment downtown forever if it was one more room bigger. But it was the biggest unit in the whole complex and was just too small. But renting a house is more expensive than my mortgage, and since I got this place when interest rates were 2.25% I feel like I'm stuck with it forever because I'll never get money that cheap again! I love this house but ugh I do not love home ownership in general. And the black lips - LOL by the time that stuff dries on my I'm always a little disappointed that I have to peel it off 🤣 but I also went through the era of using black eyeliner as lip liner and filling in with the 90s browns.... so I think I have nostalgia for dark lipstick! Our tankless heater gets hot but it's got this recirculating feature and there are these modes on it where "comfort mode" circulates the hot water through the cold water lines, so that the hot water is instantly available - but then cold water is not instantly available, and my mom drinks the cold tap water so that annoys here. So now it's set back to an "economy" recirculation mode where hot water recirculates at peak usage times - except that my schedule is not like "normal" people's schedules, so I'm back to having to wait for hot water....
