Kind of agree, the biggest difference is acoustic.. The music you hear on radio is studio produced and contains alot of sounds. This is naked and clean voice and a low guitar. Makes big difference on how we take the music to our souls and reacts :) Atleast for me.

There was a time when I absolutely despised country music. After moving to the country, I forced myself to listen to a country music station, sort of as a joke at first when others were with me in the car. I would make fun of it. I was surprised to hear a few songs that I could actually sit through enjoyably. A year later and I've got a big list of favorites. I listen to so many genres of music, and country is now in that diverse mix.

Saw the Tennessee Whiskey video you did with your little one (she is beautiful, by the way, and clearly loves you), and found your channel. Your voice is fantastic. You sound like you’ve had vocal training, but some of that is natural talent. The ability to pull back and sing soft, and then your big vibratto, your natural voice breaks. Amazing.
