I thought it was great. Really did. Encapsulated so much. The bits with Iovine blew me away. He's some character and clearly loved you guys (after you brought the songs that is!) 😂 But no - Loved it. Fingers crossed for a physical release. Heard there's been problems for fans outside UK/Eire trying to view it.

Simple Minds died after Derek Forbes and Michael MacNeil left. The fact that neither were in this documentary speaks volumes. The biggest ego dragged the group down the wrong path. 😒

The Minds are Living Legends they have made the soundtrack to Alot of Lives everywhere. Jim and Charlie have written the songs to the soundtrack of our lives , seen twice once at Milton Keynes bowl , and in Liverpool recently, believe me they are definitely still Alive and Kicking.

Jim's absolute lack of respect for Derek Forbes in this film is outstanding. I'm sorry Jim, John Giblin was good, but he didn't fit the band as effectively as Derek. Derek co wrote the songs you play on each and every tour. Respect where it's deserved, Derek was, and still is, the beating heart of your best songs.
