The pleat probably would only need to be half as wide to keep the lock flap actually (but that's more folds to measure out). This is nice, it will work with different rectangles too.

OK so you can make it with 3:4 paper and use the middle 3rd for the pleat, but it IS very small and annoying to work with. You can also make it like 1 single channel you flip to opposite sites like the crimp fold. It looks the same when done.
