You see how his feet hang past the foot rest? Mine do the same and my feet fall asleep. Very uncomfortable. I cant even take a nap. They fall asleep and hurt. Is there anyway to fix that? Right now I am thinking about making myself a new footrest. My wife bought me the chair as a gift. I was in the hospital and it was a surprise. It fits her well (she is much shorter than me). But I am 5'10 and to long for the chair. She will murder me if I buy a brand new chair. We have only had this chair 2 years. But the return was already over before I returned from the hospital.

The man in the recliner looks too tall for the mechanism, judging from how far beyond the lower edge of the leg rest his feet extend.

You can't stop the lazboy rocker recliner from rocking it is how it is! If you don't want rocking go with the non rocking recliner!

I'd like to extend & lock the foot rest AND keep rocking? I had a previous model La-Z-BOY and I was able to unhitch the locking mechanism.
