Some pears and oranges - перепрошую, не "якісь" груші і апельсини, а просто груші й апельсини. Є риба, пудинг, груші й апельсини. Some тут означає не "якісь невідомі", а просто певну кількість без уточнення. Що є груши та апельсини, но нам не важливо, фунт ціх фруктів чи два фунти.
