Dearest Ellen, please do continue your channel. I love your heart. I learn so much. I'm so glad to hear your hubby is well. I'm going through a lot myself right now. I was injured loading my truck. I just had surgery. I'm a new soaper. I opened my soap shop 2 months ago. It's all I have right now. I'm trying to build quickly as I may not be able to be a trucker again. I am blessed though. I'm 60 with 11 gorgeous grandchildren. I fell in love with making soap and I'm hoping to make a living at it and thanks to you and many other generous soapers I have a new hope. Thank you Ellen. God bless you.

Oh Ellen what a fun soap to Make. I must see if I can find the scrubby ingredients over here they sound like the best. Thank you for keeping us enthused. Love it ❤❤ I pointed out not long ago that a soaper was making claim and asked if they had a cosmetic licence as thought soapers couldn’t make claims here the individual co clearly didn’t like it and questioned what I was saying was a claim!!!! I thought but decided it wasn’t worth responding as clearly angry I’d asked a question, but should have said read what you’re saying on your Facebook ad. So good on you Ellen for pointing this out. Regulations are here too.

At 58, you look amazing! I'm 50 and I feel like I look much older than you do 😅 Anyway, I agree about what you said about the ingredients. I gift my soaps too and one of my mom's friends had a licorice and papain allergy that I didn't know about until she read my labels. On one bar I used licorice extract, and on another I used papaya extract. I wasn't sure if the properties of those extracts would survive saponification and intended for them to be just label appeal. So she read the labels and apologized that she can't use those bars because of the licorice and the papain in the papaya extract. I suppose it's ok not to include ingredients if it were just the oils in there? But the additives I guess are important cause someone might have an allergic reaction to them...

I love your soaps! Do you think you could put together a heavy duty mechanics soap using coarse pumice sand? I have been searching everywhere and can’t find one to my liking. I know for a fact, if you can put one together, I would be able to use it. That’s how much I love your soaps.❤

Very pretty ❤! I need to ask you a question that no one will answer me on, I'm trying to make a rainbow soap with the straight solid layers, so I separated the oils into 6 cups, now do I measure the lye solution by dividing it by 6 to get the right amount for each color? I made some yesterday and it flopped on me 😢! Please give me an answer 🙏?
@EllenRuthSoap7 ай бұрын
Yes, when I want straightl lines, i'll split the oils into however many stripes I want. Then make the whole lye solution and split it into the same number, then mix each layer as I go.

Hi Ellen! So happy to hear the good news abt your hubby! ❤ Question? To my remembrance I've never seen you do the heat transfer method with your CP soaps? Have you tried it? Is there a reason you prefer not to use it? It just seems so mucb faster so wondering your thoughts on it?
@EllenRuthSoap7 ай бұрын
I have used the heat transfer method a few time, and it is super fast. When I'm using a fragrance that I know is well behaved, it's a good option. But it can move things a bit faster than I like sometimes.
@christeef68407 ай бұрын
@EllenRuthSoap Thanks so much! I've tried it twice and last night almost had soap on a stick so now I 100% know what you mean! Lol Until I'm sure an FO will behave I better stick to the regular CP protocol! ❤️

Hello Ellen! I love all of your videos! I was wondering if you could tell me something about the OnlineLabels labels. Is there something that is supposed to tell me what part is the "top" of the page? For example with the lip balm labels, I put it in one direction with the cap tabs facing the top of the page as it shows in Maestro but then it printed way off, but when I flipped the page around and printed again, with the tabs facing the bottom of the page, it printed correctly.

Good morning from Mississippi. I'm so loving learning from your videos. Newbie question... l'm About to try a whipped cream using the oils but have them infused with healing herbs ir cakes foole 3 butters. I only have 2 at the moment( have all the right other ideas on the list) It calls for shea butter- cocoa butter and mango butter. So in place of the mango. Will it be work to split calculation of the two butters l have on hand and replace as the mango butter ? Strictly for my own use Thank you
