A thing I do with windows and wall clipping, I put down a gate hole wall then the window, it add some extra detail like the caution tape on the top and bottom

This is my wishlist; i) vertically nudge objects, including blueprints. ii) upload your own textures iii) 1/2 foundations be vertically rotatable.

I really want to make cool stuff like this, but I can't bring myself to enclose anything that is putting out smoke in a building... it just doesn't make sense to me as that would be a massive safety risk as all the smoke would fill the space and kill all the workers.

Putting factories in buildings should Be worth it not just cosmetic. a fully enclosed factory should give some kind of bonus to production otherwise there is NO POINT in building 95% of the stuff you see fanatics build.. no normal player will ever bother as there is no point to it, it uses a lot of matts and takes insanely long not including all the issues you come across trying to place everything. NO WORTH IT! MAKE IT WORTH OUR TIME! PLEASE!.. i like the game but it seems pointless why am doing this why should i do all that.. etc. i want to but whats the point?

You know, I've never understood Minecraft Creative mode. I grew up building with Lego, but when it comes to making things in Minecraft, I don't have any ideas and I don't find it that fun. For some reason, Satisfactory makes it fun for me. But if you don't have fun with building and decorating, that's fine. It doesn't serve a function so if you only care about the factory part, there is nothing wrong with that.

The point is the have fun while doing it and be rewarded with a nice looking factory to look at while you play, sometimes it's about the experience not the reward

I think plenty of "normal" players enjoy the creative side of the game for its own sake. If you added a bonus to putting factories 'inside buildings' people who are extrinsically motivated will simply find a way to box said factories in the most efficient and ugly way possible for the bonus and move on, ever heard of the phrase "Players will optimize the fun out of games."? Building something that looks nice is its own reward, even more so if you get to share it with other people and inspire them as part of a community.
