Check out this video on the simplehuman foaming soap pump and traditional liquid soap pump. These pumps are incredible. The battery lasts for months, they don’t drip and they work exactly as designed. In my video I will show you an up close look at each, how to fill them, how to charge them and some features that I like and some features that I’m not necessarily crazy about. Also in this video I will show you one of their trash cans and their dog food container. Keep watching till the end there’s a sneak peek of a future video!!

Thanks for showing us how to refill the foam dispenser. I was under the impression you had to keep buying soap cartridges which I thought was so wasteful and pretty insane! I'm glad I can refill it with whatever soap I like. I appreciate the help!

I have 5 in my home. Love the look and function when they work but they are not bug free. Simple Human was good for one replacement each when they quit but if the replacement goes south you’re out of luck and at $70 a pop, they’re not cheap! So conclusion, they look great, but be prepared for issues. Also, the soap price has gone up by $2 a bag and Bed Bath & Beyond no longer carries it, so it’s either Simple Human with its slow shipping or Amazon. About the foam models, the soap does last a long time but they have had issues with it not foaming properly. I called Simple Human about the issue (weak foam) and they did send me replacement bottles that do make much better foam. So if you’re getting droopy weak foam, give them a call. Batteries are also an issue with these. Sometimes the charge will last a month other times a week. Even the one in my guest bathroom that seldom gets use will have a dead battery prematurely. They do have a number but you’ll have to google it, it’s not on their website. They run hot and cold with me, the products look great and (mostly) work well, but sometimes support is great other times, you’re on your own.

Couple questions. Said you’ve been using Dawn in one of your refillable Simple Human soap dispensers. How’s that doing? Any issues getting super chapped hands ‘cuz I assume you wash both dishes and hands with it? The dog food one, or the one container you’re using for a dog food container. Did you get that to roll out or did you just drag it out?
@bobbygfl
@bobbygfl 3 жыл бұрын
At the sink we use both. And yes I’ve been putting Dawn in it and I have had no problems. Sometimes Palmolive. Either way no problems. If I have a grease on my hands or oil I use the dish soap if I’m just washing my hands or use the foaming soap from simple human. No, no problem with shopping either way. The dog food container is on wheels. They are only in the rear so you lift it slightly and it rolls. Thanks for the comment!

what a good son!!!!! such a nice gift! I wanted to add that these ' little gems' of kitchen gadgets are super helpful when trying to teach your child how to wash their hands. Also, I'm a teacher and if I ever win lotsa money I will replace my 1980's soap dispenser with Simple Humans! It makes the process so easy and it lessens the mess for me (mama) later on throughout the day. My son LOVES using it so it's great incentive for keeping clean and covid safe. I did have a question about the lid on the smaller one with the back you didn't like.....Does the top screw on or just stay on? I am worried it might tip over at my house? I promise you I really do have a life.....but for right now, I am just really into my Simple Human items! You have such a pretty home! And pretty countertops/granite? I live in the Bay Area and I would pay 5.1 million for anything near what you have! ha ha I will be as bold to say this: I vote that you take off the stickers on the one's in your kitchen to make them look more streamlined and keep the stickers on in the bathrooms for guests or what not? That's my vote. They go well with the style and the sticker ruins the sleekness. I guess Im a California snob? h a ha ha Best to you and thank you for your video!

Thanks for the video! Do you think the foam dispenser is better than the the liquid dispenser... since all the new ones you bought are foam dispensers? I know the foam soap lasts a while after the refill... but do the liquid soap need significantly more frequent refills (given that foam uses less in each pump)? I'm just debating which one to get... so would appreciate your opinion. Thanks!

I love their cucumber melon foaming soap and prefer it for hand washing. That’s why I have the foaming one in all the bathrooms. We use dawn soap for dishes and with the right brush you can activate the pump with the brush, so that why we have one liquid non foaming pump in the kitchen next to the foaming one. Thanks for the question! Hope that helps. Here’s a link to brush we like. Not all brushes will activate the pump. Has to be dense with bristles. My first foaming Simple Human soap dispenser stopped charging after 1-1/2 years. The warranty replacement came & it worked for about a week...and it no longer charges and I noticed there was brown water inside the clear pump enclosure, so I think it was leaking and shorted itself out. Contacted Simple human again, and I am waiting to hear back. I have owned several of these units in the past and have always loved them, but I have become frustrated as of late. Exchange it. Once you get a good one they are very reliable.

@@bobbygfl We did replace it. First one failed within days, replacement "times-out". After several hours, it must be powered up again. No joy.

Sorry to hear that. I did have a few problems with a few of mine and I just kept swapping them out through Amazon. It almost became a personal challenge to see how many times I could replace the same one lol. Anyway there is hope I have I think five or six throughout the house and they all work perfectly. Sorry to hear your experience.

With COVID-19, these are extremely useful. And expensive? 🤣🤣 far from a "rich" toy. Lmao.

I am not rich, and pitch pennies. I loved the touch free option of this soap dispenser, and their hand soap is mild on your hands and doesn’t dry-out your skin (I have very sensitive skin). I saved up some points on my credit card to purchase my Simple human soap dispenser, and it is well worth it.

Simplehuman does not honor warranty; in fact, they won't even message you back when you make a claim. Avoid. You have been warned

Just replace it through Amazon. I do agree with you. They fail way too often. I just replace them one after another.
