My husband worked for years as a planner operator in a plant where they did dimensional lumber for kitchen cabinets. He always said it took a long time to plane because you couldn’t take to much off at a time because the boards would cup or the planner would bog down. Awesome to see you work through it and figure it out all on your own 😊

Your channel has to be my fav…because of your work ethic, play ethics, home skills, cooking, gathering, explanations, cinematography, and variety of activities! You both have great camera presence and skills! I am sure many viewers wish they were as accomplished as you two! Yes, your relationship also shines through too! Question…can you suggest a background video episode …..on your history….origins, met, starting your life, etc, etc……I will dig on the channel but if you never made one please do! Love the siding idea for the hut and def using the company u gave a shout out to down in NP. I'm stealing the idea and going with shou sugi ban pine or spruce though. Zero maintenance for 80-100 yrs. Log homes have enough maintenance already so one less structure on the property to mess with the better. We just moved to FAI and have been fans of ur channel before our move here from NNY. Full of fantastic ideas. TY!

My Alaskan friends, just killing it again, the siding looks fantastic, you guys are gonna just love this when winter hits. Eric isn`t gonna have to rebuild the generators every two weeks, no more truck maintinance outside freezing, it`s gonna be great to see you guys in a warm building this winter.
