One of the best things about your channel is that you actually put the whole trip in one video. You don't post 10 minutes of it and say "alright guys that's it for this video. Tune in next week and subscribe so you don't miss the rest of the trip!" Love you two. You are a great example of a healthy and loving relationship. With great work ethic and pride in what you do! I don’t know if people realize how difficult it is to film in that cold of temperatures. Getting so many shots while on the move and having to take care of so much gear and then living in a cabin where there’s always more to be done. It’s a handful to say the least. Then the gourmet meals on top of it! Respect.

Love the use of the mason jar ring as a biscuit cutter, very clever multi-use! Also, kudos to the two of you for not actually swearing most of the time in all the years I've been watching you. It's rather wholesome and cute, listening to the two of you "swear" with words like "dangit!" and "gosh!" and I find it delightful. (I am also slightly envious, as I would have a harder time restraining my language.)

Whenever I see your landscapes, I am reminded of this piece of poetry that I recited at my father's funeral 38 years ago. It was written by a man from my father's home town of Preston in north west England. "It's the great big broad land way up yonder" A powerful description, brought to life by your videos. Thank-you. There’s gold, and it’s haunting and haunting; It’s luring me on as of old; Yet it isn’t the gold that I’m wanting So much as just finding the gold. It’s the great, big, broad land ’way up yonder, It’s the forests where silence has lease; It’s the beauty that thrills me with wonder, It’s the stillness that fills me with peace. Robert W. Hey youngin’s, Rev. Paul again Eustis Florida. As kids (little brother & l) my dad would put dirt/sand in a metal 5 gal bucket with diesel lighting in it just under the top as close as you can get it anyway. That would last us for hours while ice fishing. Good memories I’m 71 yrs old having lived through the 1964 earthquake and lived to tell the tale. Chased by a rampant grizzly at 12 having to jump off a shale cliff in mountains of Denali to stay alive. What an exciting visit from you all!!. I've worked as a cook for 25 years but what you both do for meals and snacks are so much greater. I thought it was so sad for you to have to toss your prize fish back into the hole but rules are rules and one of you probably will catch it again. Your dogs are so chill and nice. Thanks so much!!
