lol the fun thing about the mentalist, kinda similar to criminal minds with their profile, is even Jane has no idea who the killer is usually, he just sets a trap and whoever springs the trap is the killer. works most of the time

Rightly said. he has hunches based on which he sets traps and manipulate people into giving into their temptations which most humans do. Like it was told to us the entire season 1 opening credits - Mentalist - A master manipulator of thoughts & behavior 😅
