Thank you and good luck. I have made it a couple more times, the latest one was out of a heavy chamois type cotton plaid, for winter. I did make it a little longer to just above my knee. I do really like this pattern.💕

Jeanie Simpson Thank you! Yes, I got my short cut, I try to grow it into a bob and then I just want it short in the summer. Sometimes it goes so smoothly, and other times the cats, dogs, husband, etc do their normal things. And then this one, the camera angle showed how short it is in a bad way. Ha! God bless,

Can i do this pattern without pockets? I'm looking for a beginner pattern for a simple, casual dress with v-neck and 3/4 sleeves. My goal is to make it in all colors because I have not been able to find the perfect dress for myself. I'm hoping this is simple!

Lauri in the Loop Absolutely you can make without pockets. It is well drafted, and comes together with seams matching where they should, I think it is a good beginner pattern.
