I wanted to tell you that you told us about Kwik sew patterns and I never heard of this, BUT I found one in a thrift store and yesterday I made a pair of shorts that took about half hour! These patterns are great, Thank you SO much. And I LUV your dog walking outfit and your dog, so so happy you got a dog.

12:15 march 2...viv you inspire me to sew anything I want out of any fabric I have on hand...definitely want to get more patterns. Lost the majority of my stash in a fire 12 years ago. Working on it. Very grateful for one thrift store. Look for fabric every chance I get. And yes I'll keep.hanging on.

Goodness, I wear a uniform of sweatpants, T-shirt and sweater to the dog park. Both my dogs are over 120 lbs and when I come back from the park, I'm filthy. Zinnia sounds like the most polite Husky in America. All of the California Huskies at the park PLAY HARD AND ROUGH. And they yell at you if you correct them! Huskies are very vocal. You have so inspired me. I'm working through my 50 year old stash. I've tried a few New Looks and Simplicity patterns, but I find I still love Vogue and Butterick. I have lots of new dresses and skirts from all my sewing, but I don't have any place to wear them. I've been adjusting them and giving them away to formerly homeless or unemployed women who are trying to pull together a wardrobe. Win-win for everyone. Thanks, Viv, you're such a happy-maker!!!

Good to have you back, Viv. @5:15, I love the fabric but I don't sew with knits or stretch fabrics. Wovens are much easier to handle. 🙂 @13:51, beautiful fabric and an interesting pattern, although not for me. I hope this helps with your ear, Im a retired nurse and I had an experience similar to yours. It also caused some dizziness at times and the room would spin for a few seconds. My dr gave benadryl 50 mg and a steroid shot and the next day it was gone and never came back. It was the benadryl that dried up the fluid in my ears and the steroid helped calm down inflammation. Loved your show. I want to sew those cute pants and tops especially the first 2 you showed. I have never done clothing....but I will give it a try. Feel better.
