One of the most amazing black games in the Catalan was Giri-Wei Yi in this years GCT Poland Rapid and Blitz. Black prevented any queenside pressure from building up and went directly for an attack on the king.

Thanks for this , needed it. Do you have something similar for the QGD normal Nf3 Nc3 ? I felt like the lines in the course had also a lot of theory

Yes, it's not so easy to avoid a lot of theory in the QGD. There are a few attempts to reduce it, like these moves 3/4...a6 or 3/4...h6, but they still have some stuff to learn. That's one of the reasons I proposed this easy QGA in one of my previous videos, as a bonus you also avoid the Catalan. :)
