Sir, thank you for the Video. I have one doubt... My Name is David S. My father name is Samraj. My name is printed in all my school certificate, AADHAR Card, everywhere as David S except in Pan Card. In Pan Card, it is written like as you have explained.. David Samraj. I went to SBI bank for KYC. They said your name is mismatching. They said, go and change your name in either Aadhar card or pan card. I said my name is written in all my certificates like David S. How can i change my name from all these? They said then try to change in PAN card. You have made this pan card 10 years before. Now there will be some changes. So, I tried twice to change my pan card name David Samraj to David S but they have rejected. What is the solution for this? It is still incorrect. Also what is the international and Indian standard? First name should be our name or father's name?

Agree with Asok kumar. In my PAN database first name is my father's name followed by my given name. So if I change the first name as my given name followed by my father's name ( which is the correct sequence ), the 5th letter of PAN will change. This issue has not been addressed by Mr. Nivas

Name correction infront of the card is not enough. Inside the data has to be corrected. Pls log on to the income tax portal and check.
