Watching the Cinematography Roundtable series makes me really happy. It reassures me that I am on the right path and all I need is more time, patients, experiment, and a little bit of luck :)

Too short and needs a moderator to make sure everyone is involved and not the same voices are heard every time.

Interesting to hear about film. How did they know they were getting correct exposure without exposing the film?

Can't avoid commenting (but credit where credit's due, to the cinematographer's OTHER work): the lighting in "Hanna" was absolutely terrible, with lots of ugly video noise and crushed shadows. Not the fault of the camera itself, which was an Arri Alexa Mini.

@@John-e4p1x I was referring to the actual finished product when streamed via fiber in UHD/HDR, still quite awful.

Really @CookeOpticsTV? An all-white, mostly male panel in 2021? Jeez there are so many diverse DP's out there you could've gone with.

You’re ridiculous! It isn’t necessary to always have a diverse cast.

It's a shame that it's not new content and that they have to use 2018 footage rather than discussing up to date films and technology. A
