For those wondering, the musicians are lead vocalist Mick Hucknall, backing vocalist Stephanie Spruill, guitarist Heitor Pereira, bassist Tony Bowers, drummer Chris Joyce, percussionist Lenny Castro, keyboardist-backing vocalist Fritz McIntyre, synthesizer programmers Erik Hanson and Larry Williams, trumpeter-keyboardist Tim Kellett, and saxophonist Ian Kirkham.

I remember the first time I heard "if you don't know me by now ", Me and my husband and our two little girls were driving around and my daughters were about three and two year old and all the sudden they got so quiet and moved around their heads with the song and radio stations in Amarillo -Texas were playing Simply Red songs all the time and before we know It my daughters were hocked to your songs. They are 27 and 26 years old now and still all of us enjoys all your music. I am 58 years now and just love, love your music . Yesterday I finished my school and graduated in Radiography and as soon as I passed my final exam I came home and for good solid two hours listened to Fair ground , something got me started and come to my aid and danced around with your songs with joy . During past 4 years that I was in school, your music, your energy and great great talent keep me up way pass midnight for study.(do you know how hard was go back to school in my age). God blessed you with gift of great voice. I am looking forward to come to your concert and hopefully meet you in person, May God bless you and your family . B.J-Raef

How catching are the lyrics. it says about what two lovers will always go through: doubts, fights, cracks, disbelieves. But the guy still sing to her and make her mind clear. that this relationship needs both of their efforts. He is trying the best to understand and trust the girl, so the girl should do the same to him too.

Back when you didn't have to have good looks & a knowledge of auto tune make it as an artist, THIS is truly good music, by TRULY good TALENT, not a good looking guy, just a guy that has the soul in his voice to make it, before times were so superficial like they are now.
