I've been waiting !!! I'm so excited for the cake! This was such a joy to watch!!!! Grace and yourself are such a Breath of Fresh Air!!! The love and Respect you have for each other shows so much as the family things you've created as a Your Family Grew! Little thinks like Grandma making Daddy his CAKE. Or getting the beaters and bowl before you can even get the cake or what ever in the Oven! These are the Treasures of YOUR LIVES!!! Hold them so close and tender!!! Every time I watch I see a bit more of Mr.David and yourself in each child. Like you said "she comes by it naturally" Sweet!!! I like the crumb rule and Miss Grace, Bacon would be interesting! My husband's friend at work has some kind of Maple Candied Bacon treat . Maybe make some candied bacon like you make candied nuts and try it with a slice of this yummy cake!! Thank you so much for filling our tummies at our home and my Heart! I'm great-full your feeling better ! Looking GOOOOOOOD Ma am! Xoxox Deb in California!!!

Fantastic recipe. Daughter's expressions made me aware...I had to reduce the size of this cake to 2 single servings (his & hers). Baked in a silicon 5" dish in the microwave for 1 minute. Fabulous! TY.

Here in France we have a cake that is called fondant (melting), fondant au chocolat (chocolate melting ) is my favorite it's a chocolate cake that is half raw inside hence the name melting it's still warm and melted inside. When I began eating gluten free I was very sad that I wouldn't be able to eat it anymore but luckily I have found a recipe that is gluten free, dairy free and not a bad option for a treat in a keto diet. 3 eggs 200 g of chocolate (75% or more if you use a very dark one you may want to add some sweetener, I use 75% and no sweetener) 125g of coconut oil 30g of coconut flour. Your oven should be at 180 °Celcius simply melt the chocolate and coconut oil then mix everything together (if you do it by hand you may want to stir the eggs, mix them with the melted oil + chocolate and only then add the flour) put it in a mold (spray some coconut oil in it first so it doesn't stick) and then in the oven for 20 min tops. careful when removing it from the mold as it's still raw inside and breaks easily. eat it still warm as it's even better but it can be eaten cold too. don't refrigerate it as it would lose it's "melted" texture.

I like the idea of oat fiber, as the fiber is equal to the carbs in it, but I am curious how you count that in your recipes. Do you count the total carb amount, or do you subtract the fiber?

Kristy!! Long time no chat honey! Girl, to keep from breaking your cake, just before you're going to unmould it, lay the cooling rack on top of the cake pan. Press your hand to middle of the rack and with other hand spread across the bottom of the cake pan, flip the whole thing over so the rack's on the bottom. Pinch the rack and pan together and give it a little shimmy shake to coax it out. Lift the pan off. Voila. 😘

We made the cake and it was fabulous! Had it with just whipped cream and it reminded us of my Austrian Great-Grandmother's flourless chocolate cake (which was made with ground walnuts or hazelnuts). I used Erythrotol and liquid Stevia which had a teeny aftertaste on the first day - so I will use your Sukrin:1 and liquid Sucralose next time - also will try to get the richest tasting cocoa powder possible. Organic Dutch I used didn't have enough kick. We froze the leftover cake and found that it was EVEN more delicious two or three days later. It was pretty amazing frozen too :) Going to try crumbling some and using as a cheesecake base. Thanks again for all you share with us.
@alannagivens18866 жыл бұрын
NorthernShrew I was wondering since the recipe already called for 1/4 cup coconut flour did u add a total amount of 1/2 cup instead of the oat fiber or just the 1/4 cup the recipe called for?
