I had to come on and tell you before I forget.. I was thrifting today and one of the cashiers saw I had a bunch of yarn and asked if I crocheted or knitted. We've made two pairs today and love them! The extra inch is definitely needed though, because they get too short once the point is tucked in to make the toe! (We started with slippers for the middle and oldest kids, but the middle and youngest got theirs first.) We used blanket yarn for one pair and it was so fast and easy! And the baby yarn made a beautiful pair! (Gosh, these would be adorable in baby size!) Thanks for another great tutorial!! Always soothing, easy to follow, and cute and creative makes!!

👍 Don't they slide off without some kind of ribbing at the top to help keep them up? My grandma made me some slippers once that I really liked but when I put them on they wouldn't stay on my feet they kept slipping off. I said, I guess that's why they call them slippers. 😸

So if I understand correctly, depending on the length of your piece you would keep adding rows until your piece resembles that folded origami triangle? You reached 18 rows but mine will be different. So far I started with 36 stitches to equal 10". It looks like I will end up with more than 18 rows. Should I be ending on an even row?

I adore your patterns however I found what you call a single crochet I call a slip stitch and what you call a half double crochet I don’t have a stitch like it because my half double crochet I do an extra yarn over and draw through. I learned my stitches from a book called 500 crochet stitches can you tell me if I’ve been taught incorrectly?
