About my videos: These videos are a resource for anyone wishing to wake up from the dream of separation. Awakening, enlightenment, and liberation are becoming far more mainstream possibilities than they once were. There are many good teachers out there, and if you resonate with the teachings of Eckhart Tolle, Rupert Spira, or Sadhguru, you might find resources here that address these deeper promptings to investigate your true nature.
Disclaimer: The information presented in these videos is not meant to diagnose or treat any psychiatric or medical illness. The inquiries presented herein are potent and can have powerful effects on the way you experience yourself and reality. If you feel you are at risk of harming yourself or others, these videos and practices may not be the best thing for you at the moment. Seek help wherever necessary which might include a hospital emergency department, a suicide helpline etc.

Exactly my experience... it can be really frustrating to try to explain this to friends and relatives (which is why I largely avoid it)... unless ofc you're not attached to outcome ;) but then again, why even try? So I don't.

This is really good. I'm in a dark place at the moment that I haven't experienced for years. I've been trying to ask the emotion what it would say if it could speak. This has worked in the past where a thought or belief is seen or known, but this time I just can't seem to get to the root of it. Think it may have something to do with time and fear of never feeling anything different, so these practical suggestions are helpful. Thank you ❤

It’s nice to have a person with a hardcore medical background say these things. It’s things I have thought but didn’t feel I could articulate. I know words are tricky, but your words help point me in the right direction

experiencing cancer and sensation here seems to be a chronic reminder is what's happening. this one is on the path to stop labelling the chronic pain .the resistance needs to keep being investigated, which apparently *helps*. the struggle is equanimity and getting out of the black and white way of seeing this experience. it's an ongoing thing. everything is temporal. thanks Angelo

I've been there -- all of the techniques are only temporary fixes, and none of them will ever lead anywhere, because we can't accomplish this ourselves. You have to surrender and let go -- but to what? To a void? These teachers say to let go of all beliefs, but If you do that, you're left with literally nothing, and they'll say that's a good thing. When we end up there, it's a living hell of unending empty meaninglessness. As unpopular as my next statement might be, I have found that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Instead of tumbling in a void, He provides an unshakable foundation in truth and peace in the face of anything.

What you speak of around the 25-26 min mark, how the ego can project suffering onto the belief in time, do you have any videos that go more in depth on this?

Hey Angelo, I've got a new question today, or maybe just a request for input. It seems like my suffering is in acceptable ranges, most of the time. It's not always been like that; in fact I've been on an upward journey for the past decade or so, with e.g. my suicidal ideations suddenly and substantially reducing (almost vanishing) about a year ago from treatment of my (until then unrecognized) obstructive sleep apnea. It (an ideation) still surfaces once every blue moon, but never even close to as bad as before. I've finished an education, I'm close to getting a job now for the first time, and so on. So what do I do if suffering seems so small? How do I use it as a portal? There's lots of seeking, but I don't even know for what. I'm mostly just living from day to day, or moment to moment. Edit: Oh, and before you point out that I'm telling myself a story and identifying with it: Yes I am -- but where is the big suffering?!?

What is the difference between what Dr’s call dissociative disorder and a spiritual awakening?
@krakykrake8162
@krakykrake8162 7 ай бұрын
that is what I also am wondering about... i know dissociation from traumatic experiences. is it the same? just different words? edit: because during dissociation: everything seems fine. whatever happens, it's fine. no fear, no love, just numbness, "okayness". one could also call it boring. edit nr2.: but also.. theres no boredom during that... only retrospectivly

A lot of doctors have no clue about anything to do with awakening so can be very frustrating if you are experiencing symptoms that simply can't be diagnosed under a western medical model. I think Daniel Ingram is working to codify certain symptoms that can be experienced through awakening so that medicine can begin to work with it and acknowledge it. I've experienced a lot of symptoms related to energetics of awakening that I simply can't explain to most people because it's just not in their worldview. Can be very lonely and frustrating to not be understood but I think it comes with the territory.

Was wondering the same since there is a condition in medicine

A diagnosis in itself can then become a big fixation. Especially coming from a doctor, who is a big authority in the western world. Then if you tell others about your "condition", you'd be surprised how entangling that can be. At least in my experience, the traditional advice to "talk to someone", can be very counterproductive. At a certain point in the process, keeping it to yourself is the best move or talk with a trusted person who understands the process and won't throw it back into the mind. In retrospect, I've been depressed for years, but I had this intuitive aversion to talking to a doctor or therapist. Instead I did a lot of self help and worked with some shamans and eventually led to deeper meditation and awakening stuff. If I had "talked to someone" about it when I was younger I probably would have ended up on prescription meds and created a big victim complex.
