I always thought it would be cool if wither skeletons dropped “charred bones” or something that you could make into a bone meal, but instead of increasing the plant’s growth speed, it would freeze it, so then you could have hay fields with different levels of wheat around it without having to go and replace it all the time.

@@user-tzzglsstle585e38 Huge quantities of beacons become redundant extremely quickly because for utility, you only need so many for them to be effective. At most, your average beacon user would need a maximum of perhaps 10-15 beacons, arguably even less. If you're using beacons to decorate, then wither skeleton farms are useful, but outside of that, they rapidly become redundant because everything they provide is likely already supplanted by other end game farms. The reason you'd assume you have end game farms is because a wither skeleton farm is one of them. Coal is probably already being replaced by things like blaze rods or dried kelp blocks, especially the latter, which boast comparable efficiency but can be gained far more automatically/passively. You'd probably already have swapled to steak/pork chops/golden carrots/golden apples, so unless you have a tree farm or the need for huge amounts of dye, you wont be using the bones to bone meal many crops. Not to mention you can create a cactus farm and turn it into an automatic bonemeal farm. It's things like these that make wither skeleton farms redundant very quickly. Unless you're decorating, you only need ao many beacons to operate at max efficiency, and everything else provided by a wither skeleton farm can be supplemented/replaced with other farms.

When it comes to bats, i'd say much like how Dolphins provide faster swimming Bats should provide better vision. Think like the potion of night vision, but only when around that bat. They're rare so it wouldn't happen often, and they wouldn't follow you so it's pretty balanced. Also you would then have reason to keep a bat as a pet* you could place them around your base, or keep them in mines so you always have night-vision. *like put a name-tag on them and keep them in a cage/pen

About the potatoes: They could also stop growth, essentially locking crops in a growth stage and preventing bamboo, cacti etc from growing higher. I'm sure a lot of builders wuild appreciate something like that

I like the idea of the wandering trader grabbing your stuff. I've always thought they should have exclusive items you can't get elsewhere. Even if they're just decorative. Like a fountain, or a special banner pattern, or a ship in a bottle, or a bust of a villager, etc. Just fun little extras for extra high emerald costs.

One of my favorite additions to the Quark mod has been a new use to poisonous potatoes. Although a bit dark, if you feed a baby animal a poisonous potato its growth will be stunted and it will remain a baby forever. Like I said, it's dark... but for people who want their pets to be small and cute, it's very useful.

The wandering trader actually saved my world one time, so I'll always hold him in high regards. Me and my friends were doing a group SMP, but we spawned in a desert with no habitable areas in sight. However, there was an oasis with a sunken ship and a buried treasure nearby that gave us some emeralds. The trader eventually came and sold us a spruce sapling for a few emeralds. As overpriced as it was, it ended up making that terrible spawn habitable.

I love the pressure plate idea - you could literally make an inventory scanner to check if someone is bringing stuff to your base secretly. For example you could make an entrance and all items you want to bring in have to be put in a chest. If the player still weighs more than a player normally weighs you could see if they have an item in their inventory.

Going back to the polar bear idea, I would love to see more ambient interactions that make the world seem alive even without the player. Had the iceologer been added, my hopes and dreams were that they would have a special interaction with goats. The mobs could have different relationships: one where they were hostile to each other where goats and iceologers could have mountaintop battles, another where they are neutral, and a final version where goats are more or less domesticated by the iceologer. That way, the two of them could team up and attack other entities. Encountering this duo would be a formidable fight. It's changes like these that I would love to see in Minecraft.

Next video: how to fix the enchanting mechanics. Personally I feel the enchanting feature is very broken. when I want good enchantments, I just build a trading hall. and to me that doesn’t feel right. I would love if you could learn them have to find enchantments by exploring and finding those enchantments on amour. Another cool idea is that you would have to use your xp to upgrade {example: to sharpness 2} to get more powerful enchantments. Over time, you would have learnt different enchantments and higher levels for them. This way you can get all the enchantments you want as long as you have mastered your enchanting skills. Wandering traders are actually pretty useful for endgame purposes if you are a builder. Cause I'm in my friend's server, he lags very easily if new chunks are loaded and we couldn't find a single jungle so we couldn't get brown wool or jungle wood. Wandering Villager concept: Similar To how Cartographers Can trade for maps That can lead to Shipwrecks, Buried treasure, Ocean Monument, and Jungle temples. What if Wandering traders can get a rare chance to trade for a map that will lead to a certain biome? I for one Would find this extremely helpful, the ability to locate biomes easier early game, especially If you want to build a base in a certain biome.

I've finally found a video, where I could share my idea. It's extremely simple, but will decently improve gameplay. So since 1.14 we have a new super-useful block called scaffolding, which requires bamboo to craft. Mojang devs even sad that they've added it to prevent players using dirt as scaffolding. But the problem is, that it is really hardly obtainable at the earlygame-midgame, when your base is being built. You need to travel vast distances to find a jungle cus it's the only way to obtain Bamboo. So players don't have any other way, than just using dirt instead. Solution is very simple. Just make the wandering trader sell bamboo, for example, for 10 emeralds. Now trader won't be completely useless and acquiring bamboo still will be challenging due to its price.

Here's an idea I had a couple days ago: *Trophy Items* Killing Bosses (Ender dragon and Wither) or Sub-Bosses (Elder Guardian and Warden) will drop new ‘Trophy Items’. These trophies won’t impact you game in any literal way, all they do is act as trophies or proof that you killed one of these creatures. You would be able to either display these items on a new trophy stand block or you could attach them to your armour to show all who dare oppose you just what you’re capable of. (Note: they won’t affect your armour stats) *How to get them:* once you've killed one of the these powerful enemies they will have a chance to drop 1-3 trophy items that are different depending on the boss. I.e. dragon scales for the Ender Dragon, guardian eye for the Elder Guardian, cursed dust from the Wither, ancient horns from the Warden. *How to use them:* trophy items can be used in multiple ways, you could display them in the new trophy stand block which resembles a display case or you could attach them to your armour/equipment via a crafting table or maybe an anvil. Some examples to what your armour would look like are below: *Ender Dragon:* Dragon scale which makes your armour have a black, scaly appearance and adds white spines and spikes to it. They could also make your Elytra look like Dragon wings. *Wither:* makes your helmet look like a Wither head, gives your armour a black, decayed look *Elder Guardian:* Adds orange fins to parts of your armour and a big yellow eye to your helmet *Warden:* similar to the Wither armour but with a different colour pallet and adds the Wardens horns to the sides of your helmet.

"Wandering trader is useless" I will disagree. Yes, his tradable items are pretty situational, but the merchant was very helpful to me. When I survived in the snowy tundra biome there were thousands of blocks to the nearest deserts, and I desperately needed green dye. (I also needed different kinds of flowers that I could only dream of) And the merchant helped me out, since I lived in the village and had no problems with emeralds. Therefore, I think that the merchant is a useful feature, but due to the fact that he sells items from different biomes, and not something special, he becomes useless for players in the later stages of the game, since advanced players have the opportunity to get these materials yourself. It may be worth changing the items sold by the merchant in accordance with the stage of the game. For example, after you have opened a portal to the Nether, you can buy various rare items from the Nether, such as Warped and Crimson Nylium, Warped and Crimson Fungus, Soulsoil, and very rarely Nether Wart. And if you open a portal in The End, then it will sell Purple blocks, Chorus flowers, and very rarely Shulker Shell.This does not negate the exploration of the world, as these items are sold in small quantities, but they will be enough to make progress in the game.

I think something that would be interesting would be to breed and crossbreed plants and flowers. And maybe be able to make simple "drawings" in books, to record things. Just a single pixel black brush. I think it would seem more like being in a foreign land, and discovering things. It would also be cool to add specimens to books, like pressing and drying plants, or making animal mounts. It would be interesting to make clothing with unique pelts from animals as well. you could separate the entities with minecarts, and each time the minecart runs over a detector rail, power a dropper counting system so, not really accurate but I get your point. The thing is counting entities is really a niche use. Nobody needs to use them. Sarc's idea would let you differentiate between types of entities, which is generally more useful. The thing is 2x we already have entity sorters for almost every mob you'd ever want to sort. Comparators detect the capacity of shulkers, and bundles are useless to begin with, so even Sarc's change with be still not very useful

@@ovencake523 Have you like ever actually done redstone? Its the only thing i do in MC and ive literally never had to sort between entities like that. I have had to count them multiple times though. The only situation where ive had to sort entities is inside mobfarms, and this is beyond useless in those as it only supports one entity at a time and mobs cannot spawn on pressure plates. Hitbox based sorting is actually useful as you can prevent mobs you dont want to spawn from spawning with it in farms, and it can handle an incredible amount of mobs at a time all very fast if it is built properly, and it automatically puts them in different places on top of being faster and way easier (no need to build logic to separate the mobs, just use the right blocks). The ONLY situation where i could see this being useful would be in sorting out witches from zombies, but that, again, basically never comes up (ive never once had to do that or known anyone who ever ran into that issue as far as i know). That too is possible currently, but only via minecarts, and its a giant pain in the ass.

I think shields would not block 100% damage, or at least not high values such as explosions or bosses. With that you could add Protection enchantments to shields, to raise the %protection they gave to you. For example, Protection IV could protect 100% melee damage, and some of the other types of damage, such as explosions, burning arrows and magic. I had a big discussion with some friends over useless Minecraft additions. Things like polar bears and pandas that didn't really add anything are what need to be incredibly limited in updates. Think of the parrot or bats, what do they do? Cat scare creepers, dogs protect, foxes hunt and hold items, you ride horses, dolphins give buffs while swimming, etc. It's a purely aesthetic addition. If they were the only additions like that, it wouldn't be a bad thing. It'd just be a novelty for players with nothing else to do. Let's say that 2 players with the exact same equipment fall into lava and lose everything, now one of them can get their heavily enchanted diamond pickaxe and bow back, whilst the other can only get back their almost completely depleted stack of food and a full stack of random building blocks. Is that fair? Absolutely not. And besides in when playing single player you have the ability to turn on keep inventory, but is considered a cheat and will turn off achievements, yet this would be a way to get back items that should not exist anymore whilst not cheating, or if it did count as a cheat then it would just do what keep inventory does but completely worse. Neither of those options are remotely balanced. It's either completely useless or extremely overpowered.
