Ive been victim of simping, a girl who at one point was my best friend, and who i was interested in, turned into someone I no longer speak to. I was in such a dark place after losing contact with them through covid, then seeing them again only to find out they lost interest. I chased them for another year, never taking my head out of my a*s to accept the truth, was always sad and unmotivated, I tried to be there for them but they refused to show me attention, and gave me false hope that they willing to date, when i really knew it wasn't true. I was ignored and never told why, when walking with them they would walk faster to catch up with other friends without even saying bye or looking back. I would dance around the problem being to scared to directly say i was hurt, and just said stuff like "how come your non verbal now". False promises from them saying they'll change, and me justifying their actions now based on how they behaved in the past kept me with them, but they were never really with me. Please don't go down the road i did guys, it's a mess, and your life will be to. If there are red flags, directly address it, if you get some lame excuse and there is no change, or they give a answer they do not like you. *leave* Things will only get worse from there. Don't be manipulated or blind to their behavior, You'll only end up hurting yourselves, while they just walk away. Focus on yourselves kings and queens.

I think the abundance of simp characters in cartoons all came down to relatability. In Timmy's defense, wishing for someone to fall in love with you is LITERALLY against Da Rules. And to be fair, there were some moments in earlier seasons that suggest that Trixie kinda likes him back (and she also fell for him in Wishology from a later season). tbh I say that people like Finn or Mordecai(*still do) are annoying when it comes to relationships but then it ultimately becomes a sense of pity for them. Mordechai was literally so over a girl that he forgets everything else around him, and in the end once he realized that fact it was already to late. Finn was so stuck in his personal fantasies that he forgot how the real world works. One of the key developments in Finn and Mordecai's character happened AFTER dealing with break up. For Finn it was PB and FP. Mordecai was CJ and Margret. If you're a fan of the shows then I'm not gonna go into detail on their love lives, but I can say that those experiences helped them learn and (*when comparing themselves from beginning to end) grow in their own way. It is true that there were a lot of situations that could've been avoided if they had been a little more mature, but it was a necessary evil for them to overcome.

Dude was like this massive simp for this girl named “Belle Pepper” who was like 15, and worked at his favorite restaurant and Sanjay is 12, however unlike Dipper who isn’t that bad of a simp. Sanjay will do like legit whtever the heck it took for her to just notice him. Heck in one episode him and Craig (his pet snake) literally injure themselves in an attempt to recreate a dream Sanjay had where he got to freaking “kiss her hair.” And it’s been a while since I hv seen that show, cause like I’m not a kid anymore but Ik for a fact that the dude did a lot more than just that to get her attention including like actually traveling the multiverse via using a milkshake (for some reason) but like yeah if u make another one of these u better include Sanjay 😆

Here is a list of simps in my opinion Finn from Adventure Time: bro was simping over princess bubblegum for a long time Mabel from Gravity Falls: she was simping over 4 guys and one of them were gnomes stacked on top of each other, but what is worse is all of that happened on the first episode of the series, and we can not forget that she kissed a merman and got her brother possessed by Bill Chiper because she was downbad for a man who did puppetry, she was worse Tobias from The Amazing World Of Gumball: bro was a menace compared to Gumball, man was simping with every girl in the school, Tobias was thinking he was a lady's man but he didn't get a girl from start to finish of the series, on one episode 79% of the episode was him trying to get girls, and 21% of the episode was him being unconscious Marinette From Miracluous Ladybug: the ships in this show was insane, the love triangle turned into the love decigon, Marinette was down bad, she was simping over Adrien for like 2 seasons, she probably would've gotten him if she realized that her superhero partner cat noir was Adrien, she had pictures of him on her wall, and the simping started because she thought Adrien put gum on her seat when it was Chloe, and he said that he was sorry and put an umbrella over her head, and speaking of Chloe Chloe from Miraculous Ladybug: she was also downbad for Adrien but it's the fact that it was for the entire series until the love decigon, like it was crazy Johnny Test's Sisters from Johnny Test: I don't even know their name but all i know was that they were simps, like Candace the entire series was them either being smart, or them simping over one guy, I just surprised they didn't turn on each other because of that guy.
