Question for you Marc, what do you think about the 2012 Mini Clubmans? I was look at then and thinking about a purchase for my Son's first car. Any opinions? I can get a 50th Anniversary Hampton model fairly reasonably. I have given up on my dream about buy a 67 Clubman like Toonies ony a few years older, because of parts availability here in Canada.

Where do you find the breakdown of how many were made? I bought a Balmoral out of Italy in BRG and tartan seats. Curious about the numbers though mostly like you I loved the tartan and green.

So the sidewalk was a production of 1000 split down into the three colours. This is the best place I have found for the numbers of the limited editions. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Mini_limited_editions

@@SimpsonsClassics Thanks, unfortunately no info on the Balmoral. I've found limited info other than the brochure (www.veikl.com/d/Rover-Mini-Balmoral-Edition-Brochure-1995-DE-32883). It seems that it was a German market car so I expect it was fairly limited though there seems to be a lot for sale in Germany/Italy/France. Anyway, thanks.

Love this wee Mini especially the colour. My dad customised his Mini in the 60s and painted it a Chrysler turquoise ... he always comments on how the blue Sidewalks are a very similar colour to his. Andrew I would say the best way is have a look at some different needles for the carb and then, exhaust, and maybe some head work. That normally livens them up a bit

Another member of the fleet that I really do like, especially the colour and the interior (that's maybe being Scottish though 😂). If I had to be pedantic the only thing I can't get away with is the number plates but I understand standard ones would look wrong so I'll cope!!
