you're so cool man, i'm a die-hard player since ts3 launched and after some years of pause I'm going back to it and your mods really inspired me to try to do some myself! I'm an absolute beginner but this will be s helpful, so happy seeing this community still enjoying and improving the game

@@MiquelGs18 Persistable is to make the value persist even after you close the game. And static is to make the variable unique basically like it will only have one memory allocation. Online there are plenty of more sources to give a much more detailed descripton.

Hi Pudding Face, thank you for this video! You explain how to set this up a lot more clearly (or at least, more up-to-date) than the one on ModTheSims! I am having an issue though, I've followed along a few times but the interaction isn't showing in-game, and also can't seem to import the Nraas DLLs as it throws an error in the package file when importing my DLL, saying "Could not load file or assembly "Sims3GameplaySystems.dll" or one of its dependencies", so I am running it with just the extracted DLLs from the game files

@@TheBoopidoop Is it working now? Not sure why it's not importing DLL. Maybe you have to remove the vanilla dll from project first?

@@puddingface1902 Yes, it's working now! Apparently the DLL problem was an issue with the ScriptCore.dll and ScriptCore_Pure.dll files, presumably because they overwrite each other. I removed ScriptCore.dll and now it's compiling just fine

Can you make a mod where the vampires are like the ones from the vampire diaries? and also make the vampires run at top top speed?

My vampire mod already adds a lot of vampire daries features like compulsion and burning in sunlight and daylight rings. Unfortunately the speed thing idk how to do, I looked but I don't see how to change that.

So I've been trying to modify a ".cs" file in an Nraas mod (Debug enabler). But every time I hit "Build" in VS, I get lots of errors referencing missing files, for example: "Source file 'C:\Users\xxx\Desktop\debug enabler v2\..\NRaas\Tasks\ResetSimTask.cs' could not be found." *edit: Fixed it I think, had to download the entire NRAAS-Master zip file and open Debug Enabler from there. Also fixed another issue with decimal numbers not being accepted by Visual Studio. Turns out I had to add (float) before the value.*

The request in mind is a little bit wierd most would think. A have a little obsession pausing after every little interaction. I already tried Nraas Relativitys "Pause on completion", but that is just to unrealiable to me, sometimes it doesn't pause, and then it makes me so frustrated that i start over a new save file. So what I have been looking for is a Pause interaction you can queue up for your Sims in their Pie menu, making the game pause when they get to that interaction in their queue. This interaction should not be autonomous.

​@puddingface1902 Yes, I have Visual Studio 2022. I'm unable to download the 2015 version. When I open the project in the 2022 version it doesn't show the references. It might be easier to show screenshots.
