Everytime I see Simu on any talk show, it's the best because he has the best energy!! I remember when he hosted for Kelly's show and he was great!! Would be fun to see his own talk show someday!!

If you use plastic as an example, we definitely didn't do a good job of guiding it's use. Greed , by a few, always wins unfortunately. My view is, just because we can, doesn't mean we have to.

I have a big hobby of fiber and jewelry/wearable arts, like crochet, tatting, embroidery, lace making etc. I personally always find it offensive when I see KZbin channels promoting AI "crochet" projects. Tbh, it's currently impossible to automate any meaningful aspect of crochet creation. I mean, it's also impossible to even invent a crochet machine. So when I see AI videos of crochet it's just ridiculous. I really like the comment Simu made about how AI art has no story or soul. Every time a person makes art, whether it's a fiber art like crochet, a painting, an acting performance, or what have you, a human being devotes a substantial amount of creativity... the process also may involve mistakes, references to pop culture and other artistic works, and doesn't take a linear type of process at all. Art doesn't happen in a vacuum, and art imo can only ocurr as a result of the culmination of countless human emotions, ideals, dreams, and experiences. Until AI can experience emotions and have dreams like Data on Star Trek, there will be no such thing as AI art.

Man... what I wouldn't give to send a copy of Gaia's Seed to Simu and Kelly. The graphic novel series really dives deep into a lot of these great AI topics as they encircle Humanity.

I watched the movie thinking that Simu voice overing Smith. That’s change a lot perspectives of the movie (when the same AI can be very good and very bad). But when I wanted to watch it for the second time, I realize that it’s not Simu, then it misses a lot of the deep meaning of the story that I got before 😅

Two things Kelly, if you read comments, I think if a movie is good, there is no way you can ruin the movie if you talk about it. Just don't talk about how it ends. 2nd, what are your thoughts about the industry using auto tune in the music industry in all aspects of the industry. A mixer producer analyzes current music and shows that most artist use auto tuning. You can tell by how perfectly in tune vocals are thru out the song. Then he does it with older music and you can see how the vocals slide into pitch and are not perfect. Since you as an artist can't get away from it, how do you feel about it? Have a great day. 😊

What a terrible advice!!!!!! Do not force your voice to do anything please! It will make real bad damage to you. Learn out of what feels comfortable. Do primal voice exercises, vowel"I", sovt exercises, flow phonation, mix, be gentle! with time and wise practice your range will expand. Healthy singing shouldn't hurt.

As a singer and musician, that's not how I took her comment. I took her meaning to be push yourself, keep practicing. But I guess she could have chosen her words more carefully.
