Best video for the PC-12 that I have seen, you don't actually use Sky 4 (tablet) SIM. And unfortunately simbrief integration doesn't work on my GTN 750 either.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it :) No, I don't use this tablet addon, honestly before installing the PC-12 I haven't even heard of it. And regarding your GTN 750, are you using the PMS one? Did you correctly enter your simBrief ID in the settings?

@@quash7778 SimBrief integration isn't included in the free version, only in paid unfortunately.

@@quash7778 Yes I get your point, first I was also sceptical if the premium GTN 750 is worth it. But you can get it for 20 bucks a year, which is 1,66 a month. Really okay in my opinion :) And it makes the PC-12 and many other planes a lot better.

Hi, I've installed the gtn 750, panel mod etc, but how do I switch the Panel from the 530 to the 750?

When everything is installed correctly, the GTN 750 will appear in the cockpit. Make sure to install the correct panel mod for either the PMS or TDS unit.

Simworks is better afaik. Most Carenado planes are quite mediocre.

On the official SWS PC-12 website you can download a panel mod to enable the PMS GTN (under "FREE EXTRAS"). I think you can also get the manual there. Cheers

Just purchased this plane from simworks store (ver 1.2.6 released on April 17, 2024) for my Steam MSFS. Unfortunately, not able to view the GTN gps system in cockpit, only the defult Garmin GNS gps is showing up. Tried installing both the PMS and TDS variants of the GTN gps but neither work and only the GNS gps is visible in cockpit. Any clues as to why this is so ?

The PMS and TDS GTN units are 3rd party products that need to be installed seperately, did you do that before installing the PC-12?

@@SimulationChannelDeluxe These were installed as per instructions from Simworks, I.e. choosing the relevant GPS option when running the installer and also tried manual method of copying relevant files (from Free Extras section of simworks store) to proper path path. In either case, the correct file/folders were confirmed to exist in community folder for the GTN. I have a feeling that maybe the ver 1.2.6 release has introduced this bug.

@@SimulationChannelDeluxe Ok - seems to work, I downloaded the pms50 free version and installed it. Simworks guide does not make it very clear that these need to be installed seperately. TDS has only paid verison it seems. I can see the PMS GTN in cockpit now, though a bit unstable as MSFS crashes to desktop on occasion when starting flight or ending flight. Will stick to GNS for now! Thanks for the help !

Usually yes, I think you trim down to the lower one when the plane is fully loaded/very heavy.

You can choose the fitting GTN during installation of the plane. On the official SWS PC-12 website you can also download the panel mod to enable the GTN 750 (under "FREE EXTRAS").

@@caramelobombado noticed that this evening as well. Must be a bug. Edit: it caught it when I was flying opposite the ILS, but when flying towards the ILS, could not capture. They must’ve inverted the capture lol.

missed some things, dont need to do another fire test after start, for anti ice you turn on probs and windshield always. rotate is 80. positive rate gear up YD on. flaps come up at 400 feet (which is safe altitude) you hit altitude hold right after arming ur altitude. and we NEVER climb IAS till we are up at the flight levels when it falls down to that range. sep comes closed at 1000 feet along with climb power 36.9. climb temp is 750 to give you a buffer. ( IRL PC12 PILOT) couldnt finished the video due to life.

"Sorry" for not having followed all real life procedures by the books, I'm no real pilot you know. I did quite some research before this video but couldn't find everything for a 100% realistic flight. Still thanks for the feedback, it helps me and others to fly the PC-12 even more like irl.
