God bless you both! This is such a crisis in our time and people don’t see it. It does feel hopeless. We need the Sacred Heart Novena more than ever. As parent, grandparent and aunt, I see 95% of my family have fallen away from the Church and God. This is truly a crisis!! I watch your family because I’ve never known a family so faithful. You are so unique in today’s society. Majority of Catholics are more concerned about college, careers, and success of their children - even sports takes precedence over faith. Parents are buying into it. I bought into it. I have to surrender myself and my family to God and believe, hope and trust! Time of Mercy is coming to an end. Time of Justice is coming. I’m so grateful for your channel and others that provide the message of truth and hope. Otherwise I know I’d be in despair right now. Thank you ❤️🙏🏼

Our parish has a home-school co-op, & our priest, who is in his 30s, plays a part in it. He teaches ecclesiastical Latin to the children, is very gifted in music, and seems to have boundless energy. He knows all the children's names & their stories, & talks/laughs with them easily. The children love him! A much-loved priest is a magnet for families & their children. We are a very traditional parish in south Texas. God bless & help 21st century children with all their societal challenges!

Our Parish is blessed with many young families who have lots of children ❤️ this year six more children will be arriving! Nice to see them sharing & happy to see each other. We have coffee & hot chocolate & snacks & share homemade bread & goodies, fruits, vegetables…& visit for at least 1 1/2 hours after Mass. Beautiful to see their strong Catholic faith 🙏❤️

Thanks again for speaking the truth! I feel what you are saying: I grew up in the '70s, taught (or tried to teach) CCD in the eighties and nineties and always felt that I couldn't get across to the children because they weren't supported at home! I tried, also, to teach and set an example for our own children, but sadly, only two out of five are practicing their faith. I pray each day that God will use me for the coming of the Kingdom of His Divine Son and I hope He is, although I don't ever feel like I am doing anything special; just living my ordinary life of working and praying. I felt the need to draw God a couple of years ago as drawing has always been a way for me to express myself. As I thought about what God is like by the actions that Jesus performed, especially in the Gospel of John, I realized that the drawing is already done! The image of Divine Mercy given to St. Faustina! God bless you and your family!

Thank you for expressing this so very well! You are right parents have rarely in the past been led to the tools to raise their children well. My parents had no good examples of faith as a result despite my best attempts I had no good examples of parental faith. My adult children are so very far from the faith my heart breaks for them. Now one child is not speaking to me because of my faith and the other barely communicates with me. All I can do is pray and offer my heartbreak to God. Thank you for the points you have raised today. I have always thought the Evangelization drive was focused on the wrong area. We need to evangelize our families and neighbours before we can evangelize "all nations". Thank you also for your message of hope. God does have a plan for redemption. I pray I live long enough to see its fruition.

I believe Catholic schools should only teach the catholic faith, period. raised my concerns about it and they obviously disagreed. Something needs to be done about all this! I want to add that I was given a bad hand in the parent unit,I was abused and raised non Catholic. It formed dysfunctional attributes in me as an adult,my journey is not impossible but it is full of obstacles. So beautifully said. Thank you for your courage. I taught First grade CCD in my church (United States). My sadness came when parents would squash the joy these children were finding in their faith. Not all parents but two in particular I recall. One little girl has so much grace and love of God . She loved CCD and going to mass but her mom hated going to mass. My great sadness came from parents who squashed their child’s growing love of God. I continue to pray for them. Thank you.

I am so touched by this concerns. I am having trouble getting my 3 daughters go to church. All of them were in catholic school in elementary and high school. But they don’t go to church. I wanted them to at least come with me to the church even on occasions , sometimes they do. I pray for them everyday that God would touch their hearts and mind so they would know and experience the love of God, which I sometimes discuss with them , but it’s hard to convince them.

I am the 12th of 12 children. One brother passed away at 2 years. Mom had 2 miscarrages after me. She was 31 years when she had her first, 46 when I came along. We had a station wagon with a 3rd seat facing the rear of the car. The 4 boys sat there. I used to have to sit on the 'hump' in our family car. It was a hump in the middle of the floor in the back seat. 5 girls in the back. Mom, dad, and one brother in the front. One sister was on her own when I remember this. We were a 'close family' especially on our way to Church, lol. My husband came from a family of 18 children... no twins in either family. Congratulations on baby number 8!! 🎉❤ 4 more times you will get perfection... at least that's what I tell my siblings😂😂😂.

Teachers just out of college often ask priests to give them letters of recommendations to teach in Catholic schools. Most priests ask the individual for their Baptism Certificate or agree because their parents are practicing Catholics. However, if someone is teaching in a Catholic school, shouldn’t they be verbally tested or interviewed on their core values of faith and knowledge of the Bible? My parish priest, Fr. Mario in Mississauga, Ontario does exactly that. God bless Fr. Mario for laying the proper foundation for the Catholic education of our children.

It starts at the parish level. Individuals are not contributing to their local church community. They aren’t helping. The bishops and priests can be as good as can be, but if people don’t step up and help catechize, if they don’t start by evangelizing their friends and fellow parishioners…If they don’t show an example of piety and service, they won’t see any change. We have a responsibility as Catholics. Confirmation was a sacrament meant to equip us for that responsibility. Most catholics are more focused on following the ways of the world and they veil it with the facade of belief in God. It starts at the individual. Know your faith, strive to grow closer to God and live it out courageously. Jesus said it best “if you are not gathering with me, you are scattering”.

As Catholic we need to be stronger and bolder! There is hope, recently I had a wonderful experience of journeying in the RCIA program with a man in his 30’s who said he knew he wanted to be Catholic and everything he learned about the faith was from his Catholic school upbringing. As a past Catholic school trustee the policies were there, the funding was put in place to support teacher faith formation. Stronger leadership on all fronts is necessary. In support of families and faith I’m in favour of an inter generational prolife pro family ministry in parishes that help families truly live out a Catholic lifestyle and evangelize each other and others. Thoughts?

Excellent!!! I sure wish our bishops and priests in the US would give sermons like Ken. Sadly, many clergymen shy away from the subjects that you addressed. I think some priests are afraid to speak the truth about human sexuality issues. They don't want to offend the folks in the pews... especially the generous donors. My husband is a former Episcopal Priest. He's a Catholic convert. He left the Episcopal Church because they became WOKE. They embraced the radical LGBTQ agenda hook, line and sinker. Sadly, the Methodist Church in the US has followed the same dark path as the Episcopal Church USA. ST. POPE JOHN PAUL the 2nd's Theology of the Body should be taught in every Catholic Church in America and Canada. Satan's attacking the institution of marriage and family in all nations and churches. The Pope, Cardinals, Bishops and Priests should be defending marriage and family. Instead, they are more concerned with appeasing the militant LGBTQ activists and Climate Change Alarmists these days. We need Godly church leaders who defend the faith and the family.

These are challenging times for the Church and the family. That said, I think family size is a personal decision by a couple. Not everyone can afford a large family these days because it takes two incomes just to keep a roof over people's heads.

Regarding the pride flag in catholic schools I did go to the bishop. To no avail. I live across a Catholic school and on the last day of school I make sure that I call the principal to make sure that 'the abomination flag's as I tell them it is, to make sure it comes down not a second too late.

I get quite annoyed that people today are living in a non religious world. I have 3 siblings and neither of them go to mass on Sunday, why? I believe it's due to modernisation. I go to mass as much as I can, sadly it's not all the time as I suffer with insomnia, but I say the rosary every day with my mammy. I maybe feel a more religious connection than my siblings and others my age because I suffered a brain surgery 21 years ago, to remove 60% of a tumour at my brain stem, so I place all my gratefulness and faith in our Lord our God. Me and my family would classify my getting through the surgery with my ability to walk and use my hands a gift from God as my whole family had neighbours, local schools and whatnot praying for me. The highest majority of the praying people were complete and utter strangers, so it was nice to know that the love for God was still so vibrant in Ireland in 2003, I don't feel there's as much love today though. People are too busy with their mobile phones, Xbox's, PlayStation's and whatever else there is to see that God is around us, and more importantly that we need him more than I believe we've ever needed him. I also try my best to pray 4 times a day to pray for others my age, younger or even older, to come back to our Lord. I live in what was known as the Isle of saints and scholars, I don't know how those saints would feel about our natives turning their backs on the faith we were brought up in and were to spread. Like a priest stated a few weeks ago, "we're dandelions, we have to spread the faith and love of our Lord our God, like they spread their seeds everywhere"

Hi. It’s July. My daughter has been dating a guy since September last year. She moved in with him and I still haven’t met him. That causes a lot of negative emotions for me. I don’t see much difference between this and the normalization of same sex attraction. It’s sin against God and is an attack on the family. Secrecy and selfish behaviour has become the norm.

[a] Under the holy will of our Holy Trinity, we have our own spiritual journeys --- today's society is much more open and porous and in a pluralistic democracy, we have been educated & socialised into celebrating diversity and tolerance. Drawing a line between love and tolerance vs sin can be easily mismanaged. One of the issues arising is how can we convert the LGBTQ+ community without alienating them --- and the people in this community believe that sexual orientation cannot be altered and possibly genetic --- there's no scientific evidence so far on both sides. note also that there's a greater tendency for the LGBTQ+ community in facing rejection and repulsion, compared to other types of sin --- which we can attribute to external influences and dysfunctional families. [b] we shall continue in praying for the Holy conviction of the Holy Spirit unto the world; and the situation in the USA is much worse --- where an array of political mis-behavior has been normalised under Trump and his enablers; and even Christians are lying in behalf of Trump, and persecuting other Christians who are in opposition, driving them out of the church. [c] appreciate your concern, but i would love to see the gathering of Catholic conference of archbishops / bishops / priests in Canada, and allow our Holy God in giving them the holy grace in evaluating the balance sheet. i have been participating in holy masses @ USA & Canada, and following the politics in America --- my personal learning experience is that at least, Canada is not experiencing the ugly political polarisation in the USA partially caused by Christian political elites and common folks; and i do like the priest celebrants @ The Daily Mass, broadcast from Ontario.

My three kids. All adults now. 😮. Went to a diluted Catholic school in Ontario. The School Board. Just cared about money. My son was bullied by teachers and we spent many years trying to get them to stop their hatred of boys. The Trustees are the worst. I came to Canada in the 60s. At a Public School back then they were more Christian. Bible readings and The Lords Prayer. I think this day and age its no longer Catholic due to the ownership of our Government funding. My kids should have been taught the Baltimore Catechism. Rather than Fully Alive garbage! its all the government infiltration and society’s change of God.
