Stevie is a versatile musician and composer and he's made a few funky songs, too. And Sina who often surprises with her choices for covers, like this one, proves that she’s got that swing and funky groove. This is soo 70’s. Thanks Sina! Groovy 😊

Have been a big Sina fan for a couple years now and for some reason hadn't seen this cover yet, all i can say is WOW just watching her as she really got into the groove of the song just closed her eyes and let the song take her away was mesmerizing. Absolutely perfect as always.

THE SONG - "Superstition" was written by Stevie Wonder after being inspired by a drum beat that guitarist Jeff Beck came up with between takes while working with Wonder on songs for Stevie's "Talking Book" album. It was originally promised to Jeff to release first but his album Beck, Bogert & Appice was delayed and Wonder, under pressure from his own label Tamla, released it on October 24, 1972 months ahead of Beck. Relations between the two were strained for a while but eventually they became cordial again. "Superstition" hit #1 on Billboard's Hot 100 on January 27, 1973. THE DRUM COVER - Stevie sang and played most of the instruments on his release including the drum beat, clavinet, and synth bass. For this cover, Sina gave the drums a more modern, intricate "Sina style" with great hi-hat work and more involved fills. It almost sounds a bit Carmine Appice inspired. Anybody agree? Good Stuff to end the year with! THE ICON - Niki and her colleagues are off for the long weekend. She hopes that you all start 2018 with a song. Katrina and Scratch say they submitted "Odd Lang Syne" to Fang & Claw Music to help everybody on their way from old to new! HAPPY NEW YEAR to ALL! See you again next year! Cheers!

It's amazing how talented this young artist, drummer, drum covering one of the Stevie Wonder's songs. My friends and I, perhaps 2-3 years before COVID-19 was born in this world, met Stevie Wonder in one of the oldest Jazz Room and Restaurant in Hollywood. He actually jammed in with the Jazz players for the audience... It was amazing!

Thank you again Sina. You put a big smile on my face for several reasons, mainly because not many young talents will touch old school Motown. You not only touch old school Motown, you finesse it. You don't try to change it or, lol, improve it. You simply pet it, finesse it, and I love you for this respect. Remember, us old dudes from the 50's know our Motown. Thanks again :)

Sometimes when I feel a little low or when I need an energy boost, I love to explore the long list of Sina's videos. And i pick up songs according to my mood. And I LOOOVE this one. Sorry for Stevie Wonder's fans, but I particularly love the cover made by BBC (Beck-Bogert-Appice). Talking about that, I would be super happy if Sina could play a cover of any song featuring CARMINE APPICE. Beck-Bogert-Appice, Cactus... any of his bands. I think he's been one of the great drummers in the 70s. Thank you Sina for continuing making us rock 'n roll !!

I work, in the Town or city Stevie Wonder was born in Saginaw Michigan), and lived in, until he was about 4 or 6 years old, before moving to Detroit Michigan, which is about 80 to 100 miles, south of Saginaw Michigan, which is an area, this area of Michigan has produced several well known singers and bands, Grand Funk Railroad, is from a town or city about 25 miles, from Saginaw, and about 60 to 80 miles, from Detroit. Madonna is from Bay City Michigan, which is the area, I was born and raised in, I have lived just outside of Bay City, all my life. Detroit alone, has quite a few singers and bands, from this area.
