Oh David,we all fell for you back in the magical 70s,you gave us so much joy with your amazing voice,looks,hair,everything!! I love to listen to David singing last thing at night,he helps me sleep,not because he bores me,but because his beautiful voice literally soothes my soul! Today 21st September 2018, there is supposed to be an unveiling of a plaque in David's honour at the Phoenix Theatre in London,wish we could get to see some pics of that happening on you tube. For someone like David,what he achieved in the music business,the millions of fans he reached with his music,his fans club bigger than Elvis & The Beatles,he has had hardly any recognition,I find that very strange! It's like the music industry,who he worked so hard for,have deserted him,he deserves so much more.

He was my first love and I loved his songs as well as his incredible looks but I did not appreciate (until he died and I revisited him) just what a wonderful voice he had. Every song he sings sounds so good because if his beautiful vocals.I listen to him a lot now and all my old love for him has been renewed since his passing. If only I had continued to listen to him for the decades in between it would have given me a lot of joy through some very hard times. ❣️

My Mom and I are watching a special on PBS for a collection of pop songs from the 50's and early 60's. Lenny Welch, the original artist of this song, just did his version of it. I found this KZbin video of David Cassidy's version, and it's every bit as good as the original. My Mom grew up in the 50's, and she loves 50's and 60's pop music. She agreed with me that David's version is just as good as Lenny Welch's version. David Cassidy had a great voice and was so handsome! I miss him so much. This coming November will be the second anniversary of his passing, and it's still so hard to believe that he's no longer with us. David, you are so loved and missed! Rest in peace.

I appreciate this song so much because David's parents and my parents were the same age my mother was born at 29 so I know these songs too and to hear David sing them is a second wish come true so a lot of people don't understand these and of course David Ben David 2000 beautifully

For over 30 Years I had always wanted Shaun to record this!!!!! So what A HUGHE Surprise To Discover DAVID Had Recorded It!!!! & WOW!!!!! Always Loved the Lenny Welch version. He might have put out more then the 5 download songs which one was from his band if he wasn't in such bad shape. And had to be taken to the emergency room. If you listen to the downloads I think they had to be pieced together as you saw in the Last Session.He was in pain most of the time. But this beautiful song wasn't on the Download.
