As others have said, much of the cast comes from a theatre background and lots of stage musical credits amongst them. The show is thankfully proving to be a brilliant launch pad for getting them more recognition and opportunity to share their vocal chops! The clip of Johnathan Bailey is from The Last Five Years, which is an incredible show and one of my top 5 of all time. JB starred in the West End production a few years ago, and while it's best seen live, there's a film version starring Jeremy Jordan and Anna Kendrick that more than does it justice. JB also won an Olivier award (like the Tony's for the UK) for his performance in the gender-swapped revival of Company and plays Fiyero in the upcoming film version of Wicked. #musicalnerd

I have technically also seen Luke on stage but I can’t say I specifically remember him, as it was 2013 when he was part of the original London ensemble of The Book of Mormon. Anthony/Jonathon is singing there in rehearsal for the musical, "The Last Five Years" -an off-Broadway productions that's gone on to be an international cult favorite (it's about the end of a marriage from each spouse's perspective)

Jonathan Bailey been in musicals on both Broadway and the West End, and will be starring as Fiyero in the upcoming "Wicked" movie opposite Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. The Last Five Years! There are two official Cast recordings: the 2001 one with the Original Broadway Cast, and the 2013 off-Broadway revival, both great in their own ways. There was also a movie with Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan not too long ago (which I personally didn't like). The musical tells the story of a couple's relationship from each person's POV: Cathy's from the end to the beginning, and Jamie's from beginning to end. It's usually staged with them in individual scenes, with them only "meeting" in the timeline during their wedding scene. I recommend listening to the recordings first before watching the movie -- I personally think it's a theatre piece that doesn't translate quite well onto film, but let me know what you think, haha.
