Mother's Day was crazy busy. I got platinum esque offers even with a 10% acceptance rate. (The best one was $53 for a stacked 11 mile order, took about 40 minutes.) I worked for 7-8 hours during the lunch and dinner shifts and made $288 with just Doordash and Uber Eats.

Banger day! 3rd floor sucks but I'd say here in NYC area on the daily I have at least 1x five or six story walk up no elevator delivery. Uggh. About half the apartment buildings have elevators, so it's always a fingers crossed that there is one. My 51yr old, former soccer/ice hockey knees don't have many of those deliveries left in them! Lol

Yep. Thats what happens to me with shop and pay. One after the other all day. Not many restaurant orders. When I shut off the shop and pay order option then it just slows down all my offers.

yea when l activated my card, then all good food orders dropped and it was all low $3 .. 4.. 5 dollar shop n pay or 6 liquor and you gotta scan etc...all so time consuming..too bad l lost my card and reported it ...then orders got better. Obv it depends on the town

In my opinion it's a smart route to take. Like he's stated in previous videos an average car payment is $800, and car manufacturers are making less reliable cars with cheaper parts. You also, don't pay for any wear and tear on your car (with gig apps these come quicker than just your daily commute to work I.E. oil changes, tires, etc). It does make sense if dashers are out there for long periods of time and hitting a good amount of cash as well as doing it every day to make it profitable. For example, he tries to hit 200$ a day, which in turn is the weekly rental rate so the rest of the 6 days is just money in the pocket not including gas of course.

I rented a car for this Friday for 2 weeks and it’s going to cost me 557 but I can roughly make 200 a day and since I won’t be using my own personal car I won’t really care much about how many miles I’m driving if I can stack orders it should even out

Mother’s Day slower in my market then last year, but that should be a given a lot more dashers this year, then last! I still made over $300 in about 8 hours. I was hoping for a $500 day! But money 💰 is money at the end of the day!

Is your zone's tier system 150 deliveries in 30 days and 80% AR, or 100 and 70% for Platinum? Here in some areas of LA, they are making it so Platinum dashers can't Dash Now unless it's busy and have to schedule 6 days in advance like everyone else. I also think 80% AR is MUCH harder to maintain than 70%, lots of orders that are under $1.20/mi ($9 for 8 miles that will end up taking 35min to complete and 15min to drive back to zone). What do you think? I'm in Cali so theoretically I could milk Prop 22 for active time and "lock in" at $22/hr by accepting everything, or take more trash to stay just over 80% for higher priority on high pay orders and catering orders.

Damn California prop 20 is god tier, no wonder scheduling is full. Most of us in other regions would be more than happy with a GUARANTEED $22 an hour. $1.20 a mile doesn't sound all that bad even, here the bad orders can easily be more like 50¢ a mile. In fairness I may not quite understand just how much more expensive the cost of living is in Cali

@@Slade366 Yup, 'guaranteed' $22/hr from both apps for Active Time. So if you had 1 order from UE and 1 order from DD and held onto them for 1 hour, your payout will be $44 for the hour. But that's not really how things work as you need to deliver both orders on time, and stacking is pretty risky nowadays. Usually you'd only take the better offer on either app. As for the $1.20/mile thing, before DD added all the BS, averaging $3/mi and above was the norm. Your mileage would be maybe 100 miles for $300 in a 12 hour shift. My personal best was $38/hr working from 3:27PM to 9:04PM ($214 in 5 hours, 110 miles) with the old Top Dasher system. I don't ever expect to see those numbers again once the new Platinum Tier system hits my market.

It's called energy, and I just feed the trolls the energy they need. There's two type of people in life, people who give energy and people who need to take energy from others. The haters need to argue to feel normal. If there isn't an argument happening they will seek it to feel comfortable. correct, large orders have always been $100+ subtotal of food, all they did was remove the misleading "catering bag required" picture and those orders will have a normal base pay. A true catering has always been $8 base pay. its all the same still

I smoked cigarettes 🚬 for 15 years and weed for 20 years. Quit the cigs on Oct 29th 2019, the day i quit my job as a General Manager for Uhaul. Weed is the hardest to quit. Been shaking it the past few years trying to remove it from my paradigm. Threw all my paraphernalia away just this year, that's something I've never done over the years of "trying" to quit. I don't see it in my future and definitely making it happen slowly. Plus I make way better videos when I don't get high everyday!

Claims it was extremely late .which the issue was the customer had the drop off address same as pick up address. So I think that had something to do with it. She sent the right address in a msg and it was dropped off in 5min. She claimed she didn't know how to change it in the app.
