He does this shit live too while being free moving on stage. The thing I like about Marc is.. He actually plays his music and doesn't rely on a backing track to play for him like a ton of "technical" artist do.

This album should be remastered and re released. It’s a fucking classic
@HorizonEyes3 жыл бұрын
If it were remastered, I would listen to it. That would be cool. I can’t listen to anything before subject zero because their mixing & mastering was so terrible. Say what you want about Lucas, but the mixing instantly got better. Ps, I know Lucas wasn’t on Subject Zero. They must‘ve just had to drop their old producer or actually got one in the first place around then.
@DallasStewartMusic3 жыл бұрын
@@HorizonEyes it took me a few listens to get into their old production. Born of Osiris had the same sound back then too, I think Sumerian stepped up their production around 2012 or so. I would say Eclipse and onward are super high quality mixes, but Comman man and ID are amazing in terms of writing so I look past the mix!
@JamesSweeper3 жыл бұрын
That would take so much away from what made that album so great.. Lukas is phenomenal in his own right, but he's not a replacement for Brandon, just isn't. Just as Born of Osiris showed The New Reign was best when it wasn't over produced, so is TCMC. It's from an era we will never see again and shouldn't really be fucked with. As far as I'm concerned you can't make TCMC any better as it is. There is something to be said for their demo stuff, though. Just as Born of Osiris did, with glorious day, showing that there is a case and point to a remaster. But TCMC album cannot be improved, or it's at least so risky it's not worth the effort. Less is more. TCMC/a higher place/the new reign are case and point. Such a brilliant era. Also Subject Zero was a masterpiece and a stamp from a one of a kind vocalist. I miss his depth and writing. And of when Veil of Maya was less pressured to cater away from whatever techniques they wanted to keep using. They're still a top teir band but they were so much more original with Brandon. Those were 100% their golden years.
