I was too! Sadly, they no longer give out amenity kits on short flights. Not even on flights of 5 hours!

And what about entertainment system on board the SIA B737 Max? Non existent?

Hi Philip, the inflight entertainment is covered at the 02:45 mark of the video. On the 737 Max, there is a 16 inch touchscreen display with a variety of movies and programs to choose from. Unfortunately for flights to Penang (and likely to Kuala Lumpur as well), headphones were not provided so passengers can only watch video without audio. This greatly affected our inflight experience, even for a short 1 hour flight. Hopefully they will reconsider this cost-cutting measure.

50 mins flight, really no point to fly business class. This has reflected on the view numbers. Waiting for your long haul flight review~

Agreed, but since it only cost SGD 200 one-way, it was a chance to try this new-ish seat found only on the 737MAX and share what it's like, and find out where they cut corners, on short haul flights 😄 Actually, since I’m a small-time KZbinr, based on number of views in the first 3 days, this video is my best performing so far! 🤣 Second best performing was my video about a 5 hour flight on SQ A380 Business Class from Mumbai, which you can check out here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fXXGdZamoqZ6iZI Cheers!

@@OrientTravellerZ SGD 200 for this flight is a steal IMHO. Qantas charges way more than that for a 1-hour business class flight on SYD-MEL route (or the other way around) on their old and tired Boeing 737 with inferior food too. Thanks for sharing this video.

Business probably goes empty coz everyone is probably thinking the same thing so SQ might offer to sweeten the deal 😉
