It's funny how kiasu became a positive thing in Singapore. In Malaysia, it's usually meant as an insult to people who are selfish or narcissistic. Unfortunately an entire race sometimes gets stereotyped as being kiasu. Examples are like 1) honking the car in front to because it's slower than yours, 2) chupping parking lots, 3) shouting at waiters because you didn't get the service you wanted, 4) intimidate neighbors so that whatever shared area between your house and theirs becomes yours.

Tissue packet table choping is like not so much of a thing anymore. I’ve been to a few Hawker Centers/Foodcourts. People now a days just ignore it and hijack the table. So now the best way to reserve a table is the buddy system. One sits at the table the other(s) go buy their meal.

Some really need chilli/citrus to cut through the richness though, most Singaporeans eat them with sambal & calamansi 🙂. The stalls that are ok with you adding condiments provide them (though many that don't would be improved by it 😂)

I enjoy how calm and chill Keith is in this. I get try guys are more up beat and "entertainment" but I definitely love their chill "normal" videos too.
