Singapore to Darwin on Singapore Airlines (SQ)

Fully agree Mark Singapore Airlines is a great airline - I have flown QANTAS, Air New Zealand, Virgin & various American airlines over the years (even Pan Am) & in my opinion, it was the best - especially in terms of friendly staff & food /drink options The air terminal is huge & the security checks are somewhat over the top (we flew Sydney to Singapore then caught a connecting flight to Milan - still had to again go through security even though we were within a restricted area! I hope to spend some time in Singapore soon (my son & I were to to go to the Singapore F1 but thanks to COVID we had to postpone. Singapore airport is truly amazing.

I did blacklist them for 20+ years because they treated us very badly on one flight from Singapore to Australia, but I'm over it now. 😀 I worked in Singapore for a couple of years and loved it there, but after a while it feels sterile and like a huge shopping mall with no character. Love visiting though, and trying all the food. Also, I flew into Changi just a few days after it opened in 1981. Showing my age! But I have a long and wonderful relationship with Singapore and love what they've done with the place.

Darwin is a beautiful city with third world standard airport.

Actually, airports in India, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand are all better

How many hours of flight from Singapore to Darwin? It's direct flight right?

Just 4 or so hours. Yes it is direct, but does not go every day. Some days you need to stop in Denpasar (Bali)
