Before we move back to Tokyo last December, we visited a cafe named “Singapore Coffee” at Raffles Hotel, where we met a wonderful female staff. We were so much impressed her beautiful smile and attentive service. We became very happy when we met her. On the very day of our leaving for Tokyo, we visited the place but unfortunately she was not there. We heard from one of the staff at the café that her name was Henny, a Singapore Airline cabin attendant and that she would be back to the sky again soon. During the pandemic period, most staff were shifted to other jobs. We understood the reason why her service was outstanding. We would be more than happy if we have a chance to see her in the sky someday. We love Singapore.

Thank you! I've lived and worked for quite a few years abroad and the sense of nostalgia is always so strong when I see our kebayas at the airport. It was such vision for Singapore to make our airlines a world class one as they become our pride and our symbol of our home away from home. Speaking to people from other nationalities, I get the sense that this isn't a phenomenon that is experienced in many other countries. Although of course they have their own national brand to be proud of.

Always a delight when I fly with SIA. Turned abit emo during my home visit trip back to Sg after 2.5 years overseas. Seeing the familiar uniform of the stewardesses and the accent when they speak, I felt closer to home. Especially when we touched down at ChAngi , the familiar announcement of “for all Singaporeans, welcome home’. Thank you SIA.

Yes, our Singapore Airlines is something special indeed. I remember feeling such a sense of pride and gratefulness when I stepped onto my first SQ flight home during the initial Covid days. I was just so touched that the crew took the risk those days when so little was known, and putting up with days of quarantine in between flights. Well done SIngapore Airlines! You have a very special crew indeed.

Last October I boarded SQ from KL to SG, there was an announcement made by the air stewardess. It was just a normal announcement but to me it warmed my heart. It goes something like this: "Welcome on board ladies and gentlemen, this is (flight info) from KL -> SG. To travellers, welcome to Singapore. To Singaporeans, welcome home." It was that last sentence that touched my heart because as borders were still closed, many were unable to reunite with their family and friends , AND to be able to board a flight back to home is already a blessing. Anyway, Happy National Day Singapore.

Woh Singapore Airline is my favourite and loyal airline each time I fly back from overseas eventhough I am not a Singaporean but the services they provide during my long flight home is amazing and not knowing they have so many many talented stewards and stewardess all are such wonderful singers and musicians which really elevate our life states during this tough pandemic time and I am so home sick cant wait to take my Singapore Airline again to come home to Malaysia for CNY next year
