Has his father's smile. So happy he and his brother are doing so well. ❤️

Hello Evelyn.. That's exactly what I thought when I saw him talking and smiling. I can't begin to imagine how he and his brother must have felt. Especially at the time when the attacks had already happened, but no one in the family knew exactly whether it affected them. What might all this be about fear, hope, prayers and inner turmoil. On the one hand you are overcome with bitter sadness because you know it's true and on the other hand the faint, surmounting hope that your relative or friend missed his flight "" this flight""" or for some reason was not on board as planned. I find it particularly sad and moving that Elvis' father, Anthony Perkins, passed away on September 12!!! 1992!!!! - so 8 years and 364 days after the anniversary of his father's death he had to die this senseless and cruel death. This has been going through my head over and over again for years. And although I live here - in Germany, far away - so sorry for my bad English - this unbelievable act of violence moves me in an unbelievable way. I've dealt with this a lot and it feels awful. I'm not a believer, but I always feel a kind of prayer, especially when it's about sacrifice so specifically, and here one I'm very familiar with. I hope for Oz and Elvis only good things await them in their future lives. Only things that make them happy or at least content with themselves and the world because they have already reached the upper end of fateful cruelties... I'm very happy to have come across this interview, because that 'Anthony smile' touches something in me. Since I was a very big fan of his 'Daddy' and nin (it's certainly no longer necessary to mention it) and couldn't see any external resemblance on photos, i.e. still pictures, it now leaves a feeling of: something remains receive; arise in me... All the best for you and for every person in this world. I hope: Love is mightier than war and hate ✨✨✨🏩💒⛪🕌 + 🛐🙏🤲 = 💔❤️🩹❤️✨✨✨

I absolutely love that he recalled her trying to contact Otis Redding during a séance and then next says, "I wouldn't be surprised if she was with us in the this room in some way." Still such a close bond. I have really enjoyed his album.

He looks like his dad. His mom played in a Steven King movie. The 80's movie about the cats. I never knew she died in 9-11 until i found the flight 11 tribute video. So sad.. 💔

What’s a little eerie is that it’s a day shy of her husbands 9th death anniversary.

oh right, I didn’t even realize that. it’s also coincidence that anthony passed on september 12th because that was his late mother’s birthday.

For me, the song "Ash Wednesday" evokes 9/11 in the most profound, poetic, and personal way. I have never not cried listening to it. Beautiful, poignant, and haunting.

Also extroadinary is that Anthony Perkins was gay yet I read Berry Berenson was the love of his life along with his family. I came across her reading of the life of Anthony Perkins who feared if it had becomre known was gay during the 1950s and 1960s woud have found it to be very difficult for work opportunity. Berry Berennson I have read was sure someone special and this was a great tribute to his mom.
