I am working on the same case. I took most of mine apart and reglued using Tite Bond3.

What state do you live in? Curious because of you saying that you lost your home because of a hurricane.Naugahyde may be a good option for recovering the case? Just a thought. 😊

Thank you Di. NY. It was very bad here. Lost 8 of my neighbors. Had 18 feet of water in my ranch home. Anyway, Thanks for watching and for the suggestion. As this progresses I will decide what the next step will be.
