Instead of using the "mouse" pointer to backup the video KZbin provides additional controls. Keys [ < ] is back and [ > ] is forward in 5 second intervals; [ j J ] is back and [ l K ] is forward in 10 second intervals; also [ k K ] and space-bar are toggles for stop and start (pause)

I forgot to add the frame controls. When the video is paused use the [ , ] and the [ . ] to backwards and forwards frame by frame.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Home Free - they are creative geniuses and their concerts are even better! Adam "freak of nature" Rupp - is one of the founders and he is a very talented beat-boxer and sound effects guy. Look up the videos of his "drum" solos at from concerts. It won't be top of audio quality but you will be able to see what he is capable of.

The song itself (also known as "I Am a Man of Constant Sorrow") was originally written in 1913 by Dick Burnett and recorded by Emry Arthur in 1928. Several versions of the song by Bob Dylan, by Joan Baez, by Barbara Dane, by Judy Collins, by Peter, Paul and Mary. It regained popularity after being featured in the 2000 film O Brother, Where Art Thou? staring George Clooney.

This is wonderful isn’t it?! Home Free is so good. They’re ‘a cappella’ so no instruments, just their mouths. Chance was doing the jaw harp, mouth harp sound. He says it hurts his throat to do it too long so in concert he’ll use a looper. The beatboxer Adam, is amazing. He can do drums, cymbals, harmonica, all manner of noises. All the boys can do some form of beatboxing. Tim, the bass, has a 5 octave range so he can sing super low and sing high as well. They have great harmonies. Try How Great Thou Art, End of the Road, Country Roads, Seven Bridges Road. They do a lot of covers but also write and sing their own songs too. You won’t be disappointed with Home Free! Loved your reaction.

The song itself is 108 years old - first published by Dick Burnett, a partially blind Kentucky fiddler. The song was originally titled "the Farewell Song" in a Burnett songbook dated to roughly 1913. Instruments are performed by the 2 Adams - Adam Rupp (beatboxer, Drums, Woodblock, Harmonica etc.,) & Adam Chance (Jew's Harp).

Hi from the UK 🇬🇧.... Last sound was a vocal rendition of a Jews/ Jaws harp sound. Basically a tuned spring in a frame that is held to the mouth, using it as a resonator /amplifier.... Imagine the sound made by twanging a ruler off the edge of a table top. If you like Tim Foust's bass I seriously recommend misty mountains sung by Tim and Peter Hollens.... Where is Man of Constant Sorrow from? Kentucky "Man of Constant Sorrow" (also known as "I Am a Man of Constant Sorrow") is a traditional American folk song first published by Dick Burnett, a partially blind fiddler from Kentucky. The song was originally titled "Farewell Song" in a songbook by Burnett dated to around 1913.
